My work-from-home desk favorite is a small money plant I got as a gift. Itโs the only plant Iโve managed to keep thrivingโprobably because all it really needs is a bit of water every now and then. I have this theory that as long as my money plant is happy, my luck with money will be too, so it always gets a prime spot and a little extra attention on my desk! ๐

Coffee. As long as there is coffee, all is well.
I have a pink/purple/blue pig - it's like a stress ball but shaped like a pig!

My walking pad at my desk makes my day better. I love getting motion in while still getting work done.
Good lighting that I am able to adjust depending on my mood for the day. I am motivated when I have can change the look of my space to match how I feel.
AirPods, whether I'm in a virtual meeting or cancelling out the noise around me, they are a must have.
M&M dispenser. Always filled with dark chocolate m&m's for when I need that boost of happiness
One of my favorite desk items is a small notebook where I sketch ideas, label layouts, or just doodle during calls. Even though most of our work is digital, having something analog helps me think differently and reset when Iโm stuck creatively.
Headphones and music!
I'm a big fan of aromatherapy, so my favorite must have in my home office is a bottle of essential oil. Inhaling the aroma helps me balance moods and cope with times of high stress.
I have a magnetic fidget toy that looks like two small metal playing cards. You can slide them back and forth and they make a clicking sound. Of course, I use it only when I work from home, otherwise my colleagues would hate me :Dย
Mug warmer - I love my espresso piping hot!
This week it is/was the sun coming out again finally after some rainy days...so it sounds weird...but I love the shadow and sunny part, though it is nothing I put there myself

My favorite desk item is a decorative dinosaur that has been passed down for "generations" at my office. It's passed hands about 4 times now and I'm honored to keep it with me until it's time for it to brighten someone else's desk.
A USB-powered fan - for when I need to feel the wind in my hair while I work in an indoor, controlled environment. (From my office on the top floor of our office building, I occasionally see hawks riding the wind outside.)
I have this long stretchy alpaca stress ball that I can fidget with as needed. Helps a lot during calls.

I have 2 of the Lego tiny plants on my desk! It keeps it looking a little more cheerful and puts a smile on my face!
My favorite desk item is a little fidget toy branded with my company logo! When I'm thinking through a problem or on a discussion-heavy meeting, it's helpful to have something to occupy my hands and stay grounded.ย
I actually have a pretty stark and slightly messy desk. So I'd have to say coffee is my only essential desktop need!ย
I have a wooden top that spins brilliantly that a former coworker and his late wife got for me at a craft fair.
While I was working out of another office for a few weeks a coworker gave me a small frog and pig made from cast resin. It is funny but having that on my temporary desk made it feel more like home. ( I would paste a pic but a 21kb png is too big?)

Coffee and water are essentials for me. Iโm also slightly obsessed with sticky notes and notebooks, so my desk usually has multiple colors of both.

A mug of coffee (always) and a little dumpling gachapon that my colleague gifted me - we call it my emotional support dumpling.
A little heater since our office stays too cold! ๐
I have some Star Wars LEGO minifigs and various little creations my son has brought me while I'm working. They're a pain to dust, but they make my desk fun!
Coffee with Coffee Warmer - not to mention the cats... they are a normal part of my work "setup" - LOL
