I love custom item types! https://discover.wrike.com/learn/courses/1980/optimizing-projects-with-custom-item-types
When these were introduced, it really brought our ability to sort work and report on it up to the next level!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT5TzoW0DqM
This intro to CITs was hugely helpful in understanding the use cases for CITs. Now we leverage this customization in multiple use cases across the organization!ย
I found the deminar From Idea to Impact: The Full Product Lifecycle Deminar Series - Stage 1 useful since it explained how do we understand the blockers & accelerate the stages to drive value
Another topic I would like to see covered, is what are the best practices for training your team and keeping them updated on Wrike? My office hours have been a miserable failure and no one reads my emails. Any ideas?
Susan McConnell I've definitely been there and felt that! I've found some traction with a Teams channel - or Slack, depending on your organization. There I post updates, create space for questions, and direct staff to the standard support process for issues.
To answer the question, one of the tabs in our channel takes our staff to an internal "Wrike Orientation" article that includes a short glossary, organization-specific practices, and links to Wrike's basic training like 101 Welcome to Wrike - Wrike Discover. Trying not to reinvent the wheel but give necessary context. We also send new users to the article from their welcome email.
I really like the video Series with Matt showcasing new features!

I greatly advocate for Automations - they can literally save you from hours of repeating tasks! Amazing feature, well done!ย
I greatly appreciate the custom item type video as well. Additionally, I found the custom dashboards video extremely helpful (https://youtu.be/HXq7RvMk88o). This video inspired us to expand our efforts in tailoring dashboards for each of our team spaces and encouraged team members to create their own dashboards based on their specific needs.
This video on HTML Proofing in Wrike was super helpful for us!ย
It goes over how to leverage the feature from how to add a link for review, how to change the format of the webpage from mobile to desktop, how to use Live Preview vs. Snapshot, and how to drop comments! This video has been helpful for us to learn about this new (at the time) feature and has been very relevant for us when we work on web and landing pages.
Automation is one of my favorite Wrike features!

I like to share this with new team members as it gives me a lot of visibility into what I need to see on a daily basis. Everyone can customize it to their needs and roles accordingly https://youtu.be/gxau2014WDk?feature=shared
ย
Always with the "what's new in Wrike" video! I personally love the popup that appears when I'm logged in and there's a new video ready. Oftentimes the video will showcase a new feature or functionality that I "didn't know I needed" but "very quickly started using and now can't live without"!ย
A mandatory Wrike video for every new team member/user:
Unlocking Wrike: An Introduction to Our Collaboration Features

Wrike is a powerhouse, but the user has to collaborate, not "fear" the plataform.
Controlling your email notifications is quite important!

I appreciate the video on Custom Item Types. We definitely need to work with our groups on Wrike Best Practices.

The custom workflows are AMAZING for my company. It helped cut down our project blueprint from 113 items down to 48 items. It's so useful for reporting and showing the exact stage a project/task is in.ย
The Wrike Report Mastery Certification series helped me get started in Analytics and gave me the knowledge to build useful Analytics dashboards and reports.

This may be a bit old school - but it is always awesome to have a handy guide for ALL things Project Management - so I borrowed all the lessons here: https://www.wrike.com/project-management-guide/ and sprinkled into a reference area of our Wrike Knowledge base--like this:
This Wrike Discover course on Dashboards has been a favorite and share it with every new team member: https://discover.wrike.com/learn/courses/1981/deep-dive-into-dashboards
Dashboards are so important!
Wrike Analyze!

Not a video, but the support for Wrike API https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/210409445-Wrike-API was so very helpful! In 4 hours I had 2 different bots made with the API and am now teaching others at my company how to use it effectively.ย
New Employee Training videos for sure.
A simple but easy one to choose.ย The introduction to Wrike - Collaboration Features.ย It can be good to build a good foundation in a product as you start to use it.ย This will fast track this and is very helpful for new users.ย ย
Unlocking Wrike: An Introduction to Our Collaboration Features
Iโd like to recommend this short but super useful Wrike video:
How to Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) โ 4 Step Guide
It clearly breaks down how to create a WBS in just four steps, helping turn a large project into manageable pieces. What I found most helpful was how they showed:
Starting from goals and deliverables,
Breaking them into smaller actionable tasks,
Visualizing the hierarchy clearly in Wrike.
After watching, I was able to structure our project plan more logically and made it easier for team members to understand their roles and timelines. Great starting point for anyone looking to organize complex projects!
The videos about custom items and custom fields have completely changed the way Wrike is used on a daily basis.
This won't be relevant for everyone but I found the Agile Workspace Structures in Wrike to be extremely helpful when I was onboarding our web team into Wrike.ย The team was used to working within Jira using an Agile workflow.ย This 2 part training course helped me to set up an area which mirrored what the team was used to which made the transition a lot easier.
Once I got the hang of custom fields the world changed! As I've been adding the departments of our organization to Wrike, I'm happy to offer way to collect metrics, create dashboards and run reports....all from custom fields. https://www.wrike.com/webinars/custom-fields-best-practices/ย
