I am not sure if I like the new hover menu - I think not. Is it possible to turn it off? I am using three monitors with Wrike in the center monitor. So if I go with mosue from left monitor to center always the hover menu opens and most times I do not want it. It is good that it opens when the mouse is over the hamburger menu but with hovering the side of the screen it is disturbing.ย
@... ok after some minutes using it I now know, I hate the hover menu.ย
Please try it yourselfe: go to the list view and try to open a subtask (try to klick on the arrows marked red in my screenshot). In more than 50% of my tries the mini version opens and disturbs my work. So please turn it off, with this menu list view is not usable anymore. Also other views this is much too dense and disturbs work.
Hi Sven Passinger! Thank you for sharing your feedback! You can disable the new sidebar and toolbar in Wrike Labs.ย

Lisa I know that I can deactivate it. For me it is important that your engineers know that the new feature should better not be released as it is disturbing the usage of Wrike significantly. That in Wrike Labs activated features are possibly not working well is clear as the are under testing.
Hi really like the new mini sidebar. thanks for that.
Thanks for clarifying Sven Passinger!

I'm already in love with the new mini sidebar with hover! <3
But I agree with Sven Passinger about the usability. I think it should be activated when hovering a few pixels more to the limit of the screen, maybe keeping a colored bar with a few pixels signaling the hover area can be an alternative too.
Thanks a lot for letting us know your feedback Neyl Walecki ๐ค

Agree with the team here - I like the hover feature too - but it needs to be slightly recalibrated, like what Neyl mentions, by at few more pixels, or adjusting the hotspot.ย Many other core Wrike elements - such as expanding a subtask, dragging/dropping tasks on a timelime are all on the left-hand side, so if it keeps hovering open it can make it frustrating.ย I would recommend - allowing the hover functionality to only work as a smaller hot spot in the uppermost left corner (say above filters/sorting/Task name etc) - just not in the main "working" space area
I turned off the sidebar feature almost immediately after I turned it on. I lost the quick filter menu in the list view, so I couldn't switch between viewing active and all tasks. That's a deal-breaker right now; seeing all that clutter got overwhelming fast. Generally speaking, I like the idea of being able to get one click access to things again, but I'll be waiting a while to turn it back on.
I like that quick mini sidebar but as others mentioned it is frustrating when you want to expand tasks. Please fix this asap
Thanks a lot for your feedback, everyone, we report it to the team as always and really appreciate you sharing it ๐ค
