Now that you know how to put together a project with tasks
, you'll want to be able to make sure that you and your team are getting all the work that is being assigned in the Workspace. With Wrike's notification system, you will never need to worry about missing out on any updates to any of your tasks or projects! If you distribute work, you can be sure that your teammates receive all assignments and @mentions and stay on top of their work. There are two major notification types in Wrike - Inbox
notifications and Email notifications
When you distribute work (for managers) :
Tasks can be brought to a user's attention in two ways:
1) You can assign the task; this adds the task to a user's Inbox and their "My to-do" folder, while also sending them an email if email notifications are turned on.
2) You can also @mention users on the task; this adds the task to a user's Inbox and sends them an email, but does not add the task to their "My to-do" folder.
Here's what else happens when you @mention
- When you @mention a user on a task, Wrike will share it with the user and will add them as a task follower automatically.
- @mentioning a user on a folder or a project, on the other hand, shares it with that user but they do not start following it by default.
When you are assigned/@mentioned
All of your important notifications are kept in your Inbox. You get a notification here when you are assigned to a project or task or if you are @mentioned in a comments section, along with other more specific notifications.

If you find that you have a notification that you can't deal with immediately, you can snooze the notification and be notified about it again at a different time. To learn more about how to snooze notifications and the benefits of doing so, click here
If you want to make sure that you don't miss out on any notifications, then consider using Email Notifications
. With these, you can be sure that you won't miss out on any of the most important tasks and projects. An email will be sent six minutes after any change made to any project or task that you are involved in. You can turn these emails off in your Settings.

Other Email Notifications in Wrike
In addition to immediate emails, you can choose to receive daily emails. You can receive:
Daily to-do email which notifies you about: 1) Tasks assigned to you and which are scheduled for today or whose scheduled range includes today, and 2) Overdue tasks created by you.
- Daily digest email which contains information about changes (comments, description updates, etc) which occurred in the last 24 hours to tasks you follow.
Product reminder emails are daily emails about missed @mentions
on tasks, folders, and projects. Notifications related to @mentions from the previous 24 hours are combined in one email.
A missed @mention (mentions which are included in the daily email) is an @mention where all of the following are true:
- The word "please" or a question mark is in the comment.
- You didn't make any changes to the item where you were @mentioned in the 24 hours after you were @mentioned.
Product reminder emails are enabled by default. If you want to disable
these notifications scroll to "Product reminders" and uncheck the option for "I missed several @mentions from my teammates".
