Wrike-Up Wednesday: Office Olympics! ๐
FeaturedIโd compete in the โTime Course Challengeโ - where my goal is to finish every task and project right on time! โฐ Whether itโs wrapping up a task in exactly 45 minutes or hitting that perfect deadline for publishing a post, Iโm always racing the clock.
My secret strategy? Iโm constantly setting timers and challenging myself to beat the clock, making sure I get things done before the assigned time. It keeps me sharp, focused, and just a little bit competitive with every deadline! ๐โจ
Now itโs your turn! Whatโs your gold medal event? Comment below! โฌ๏ธ

Iโd go for the โTab Triathlonโ โ juggling between Wrike, design files, and messages without losing focus or closing the wrong tab! ๐ฅ My secret? Organized chaos and a lot of coffee. โ๐ป
Iโd win gold in The Last-Minute Sprint! I always remember one more task right before logging offโฆ and Wrike becomes my finish line as I rush to update it just in time ahah
Using GIFs solely as a way of communicationย
I would win as the giver of gold stars - a monthly award I made up myself!
Office chair races!
The Coffee Cup Relay
I'd win the gold medal for having finished the most coffees before 9 am ๐คชโ
Proud gold medalist of the โReply-All Relayโ!ย
In this event, competitors must navigate a confusing email thread, craft the perfect response, andโmost importantlyโavoid hitting Reply All by accident. Precision, dexterity, and nerves of steel are key.
Finding the perfect GIF in record time to achieve optimal comedic effect.
I would win some sort of "Where's Waldo" award for being able to find documents that other people have trouble locating. I don't know how but I have a special knack for finding specific requested files.
I would take the gold in the "Cleanest Inbox."ย My folder skills are top notch! It pains me to see co-workers inbox with so many unread emails!
Taking gold for approving tasks, making it look so easy! Just clicking that approve button 10 - no emails needed 10 - automation sending project to next stage 10 - all images to review in one place 10 - no confusion about responsibilities.
For me - the Distraction Gauntlet - let's just say with as many cats as I have and a whole lot of crazy things coming at me from work - it's juggling all things to get things done right!!ย ย
Finding typos in publications :D
Project juggling, for sure
My event is the Balance Beam -- I walk that narrow line with travel mug, phone, and glasses in one hand; laptop and work bag balanced perfectly in the other. Never an item dropped, never a drop spilled. Somehow it always gets to the conference room on time, and I'm always BEAMING. :D
I would get the gold in Team Building (aka "mandatory fun.") I am a huge proponent of mandatory fun, laughing together, getting outside the usual routine.ย
PowerPoint formatting for sure. Folks come to me for reformatting their slides into proper alignment the most.
If there were an Olympic event for office skills, mine would be the Marketing Multitask Marathon. Iโm deeply involved in various facets of our marketing operations and collaborate closely with all of our marketing teams.ย
I'd enter the Scope Creep Taming competition. That's for those with the ability to quickly identify scope creep and negotiate reasonable deadlines and compromises on deliverables.ย
The Great Color Code-Off ... as I color code it all!
My gold metalย ๐ฅevent: Tool Matchmaker Triathlon
I get to pair teams with the right productivity tools while navigating organizational politics. I win (at least sometimes) by maximizing value without overcomplicating things.
I'd definitely win gold in Random Helpful Knowledge - my boss and entire team come to me when they can't find an answer or are stuck, regardless of the system.ย Error message?ย Amber knows what it means.ย Better way to do something in google workspace - yep, Amber already figured it out.ย Applies to personal life too, except my kids who never ask.ย ย
I would compete in the Streamlined Single-Touch sport by consistently identifying ways to simplify processes and keep teams focused on doing what they do best.
I'd also win a Coffee Cup Rally.
Most Coffees throughout the day
Iโd enter the โForce Reminder Relayโ ๐
Timed alerts that keep every task, meeting, and deadline in balance. No reminder escapes my watch!!
The Force is strong with this one ๐๐ฅ
Iโd go for gold in the โPriority Pentathlon.โ Itโs a five-event sprint through shifting deadlines, competing requests, last-minute surprises, and the occasional fire drill, all while keeping projects moving and communication clear.
It would either be finding the appropriate GIF to respond with without typing a response, creating a meme to make people laugh, or, the typing triathalon (typing an email, tabulating numbers in the calcuator app, and filling in fields in a spreadsheet)
I'd compete in a "Wheel Greaser" competition. You know, keeping operations running smoothly by cross-collab'ing with various departments, making sure everyone has clear requirements and understands the work, racing against the clock to get blockers un-stuck for teammates, and leading scope change negotiations to keep critical work on track.
