Wrike-Up Wednesday: Office Olympics! ๐
FeaturedIโd compete in the โTime Course Challengeโ - where my goal is to finish every task and project right on time! โฐ Whether itโs wrapping up a task in exactly 45 minutes or hitting that perfect deadline for publishing a post, Iโm always racing the clock.
My secret strategy? Iโm constantly setting timers and challenging myself to beat the clock, making sure I get things done before the assigned time. It keeps me sharp, focused, and just a little bit competitive with every deadline! ๐โจ
Now itโs your turn! Whatโs your gold medal event? Comment below! โฌ๏ธ

I would win for the "target shooting" category to hit as many tasks as possible.
I'd go for "Illustrator Wizardry"ย - which is funny because until my current job, I only used Photoshop and couldn't figure out Illustrator for the life of me, but when I was forced to start using it to design, I picked it up pretty quickly. The challenges would involve things like "Fix the Problem" where something's not working as it should, so you have to delve deep into all the layers and appearances to find what's gone wrong in the fastest time!
Iโd take gold in the โJack of All Tradesโ event โ from Wrike to networking to tackling the most random problems. One of our Executive Directors even joked that we should rename it the โTony of All Trades.โ
Office Stair Climber! We work in a tower and it's a perfect stress relief when you get a little too caffeinated. I've climbed all the way to the top on especially chaotic days!
I could take home gold in the โLink Lightning Relayโย Olympic event!
In this event, speed meets smarts in this high-energy challenge! Participants race to:
Every second countsโaccuracy and accessibility are key! The fastest, most resourceful teammate wins the gold in this ultimate test of knowledge agility.
-Office Chair Grand Prix Champion
-Zoom Background Decathlon Winner

I'd win the Ridiculously Organized Gold Medal. I love organizing and it's been essential to my job - I have all current tasks, files (from the day I started nearly 8+ years ago), and email lists organized, planned out, and even prepared/labeled/schedule/snoozed for future strategic use. Nearly anything I've ever been involved with (ever) I can find within seconds, and even inexperienced staff in other divisions have navigated my projects/folders and commented on how perfectly they were organized and how they could find exactly what they needed in seconds.
The deadline dodger dash.
When others are panicking, I weave through tight timelines and shifting priorities like an Olympic hurdler.
Seamlessly keeping everyone on task โ without them even knowing!
Completing all my tasks in one day would be the win!!ย
I'd win the race of whose due dates have been changed the least :-p
My event would be the Status Update Olympics: Provide the cleanest, clearest written status update in 2 minutes
I'm personally in the lead for our person who makes other people coffee stakes
ย
I'd hope to win the speed-typing contest;ย I can get lots on the page quickly but this sometimes comes at the cost of accuracy ... !
I would compete in the "Most tchotchkes adorning his/her office." I think my office would stress a neat freak out, but I LOVE having all my little trinkets to remind me of meaningful times adorning my desk!
Time Keeper- It needs to be done on time! Will track down others who slow the process to get results.ย
Calendar Blocking. I might not take home hold, but I wouldn't embarrass myself either :)
ย
Iโd be a strong competitor in the Ambiguity to Clarity Sprint because turning vague ideas and fractured information into actual plans is pretty much my specialty.
I'm the gold medalist in "Cancelling Meetings" by leveraging collaboration tools like Wrike and Slack to keep the work and conversations going with my project teams. My current record is canceling 50% of scheduled recurring meetings on a given project, but I'd love to beat that in 2026!
Iโd go for the โPrecision Prioritization Sprint.โ
Not sprint for speed, Iโm competing for clarity under pressure. My gold medal event is all about cutting through noise, structuring complex workloads fast, and getting the team aligned before anyone even finishes their coffee.
