Availability: Team, Business, Enterprise, Pinnacle. ; Unavailability: Free; |
All users, except for Collaborators, Contributors, or Viewers, can import tasks, folders, and projects from XLS files into Wrike. On Business and Enterprise accounts, this right might be restricted by a user's access role.
Important
-
Before importing, please make sure that there aren’t any formulas in your Excel file.
-
If you format text in the description cells of your XLS document, the format won't be saved when you import the XLS document to Wrike.
-
Importing only creates new items in Wrike; you can't edit the existing data via XLS import.
-
There's a weekly limit on mass item creation of 3000 items for Free, Professional and Team accounts, and 12000 items for Business Plus, Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Pinnacle Accounts. Wrike checks if the limit has been reached in the previous 7 days. When the limit is reached, new item creation from blueprints or via duplication is blocked until the limit is reset automatically (after 7 days) or manually (with the help of Wrike Support Team). The same limits apply to other mass creation actions like Duplication or creation from Blueprints.
-
There's a limit of 5,000 tasks per import. If more tasks need to be imported, then the file can be split into separate smaller files and multiple imports can be performed.
-
You can import blueprints into Wrike.
-
If you're on Business or Enterprise plans in some cases you might not see the option to import a folder, project, or space's content from Excel. That means that you have a limited access role in this location.
