Changing the Default Workflow from Board View
Business and Enterprise users can change the default workflow for the folder, project, or space from the Board view.

Open a folder, project, or space in Board view.

Click the Columns 1 icon from the toolbar.

Hover over the name 2 of the current workflow.

Select the workflow you want from the dropdown menu that appears.

Click the Edit this workflow 3 option if you want to make any changes to the workflow presented on the Board view.

You can also select Create new workflow 4 option if you want to create a new one.
Important
The workflow displayed in the Board view might differ from the workflow of the selected space, project, or folder which you've opted to view in the Board view.
Note
Only account admins can create and edit account workflows.Space admins can create and edit the space’s workflows.
Users with appropriate rights can edit the workflow that is displayed in the Board view.

Open a folder, project, or space in the Board view.

Click the Columns icon from the toolbar.

Select Edit this workflow from the dropdown menu.
Tip
You can access the same option “Edit this workflow” by either double-clicking the status name in the column, or clicking the three-dot menu within the column.
You can create custom status under any of the columns with respect to the selected workflow. From the pop-up menu you can:

Edit the name of the status 1.

Choose the color for the status 2.

Assign a task to a user following a status change, search for or choose a user from the dropdown menu 3.

Choose specific statuses to which you want to allow manual transitions only 4.

Add approval 5.

Delete the status 6.

Save 7.
Note
Only admins on Business and Enterprise accounts can limit status transitions in custom workflows to create fixed workflows, In Enterprise accounts, this is a controlled admin permission, so some admins may not have it.
Users can create a new workflow from the Board view.

Open a folder, project, or space in the Board view.

Click the Columns icon from the toolbar.

Hover over the name of the current workflow.

Select Create new workflow from the dropdown menu.
A new workflow has been created.
