Overview

Space admins can add and remove tools from Spaces that they manage.

You can add dashboards, Workload charts, reports, and calendars to your Space to give all Space members quick access to team-specific tools.

Add tools to Spaces

Create new tools from a Space

  1. Navigate to the relevant Space.

  2. Click + 1 next to the Tools section in the left panel.

  3. Select the tool that you want to add. (2)

  4. Enter the name of the tool. (3)

  5. (Optional) Change the Space where the tool will be located if necessary.

  6. (Optional) For Workload charts and reports specify additional settings.

  7. Click Create. (4)

Your new calendar, Workload chart, or dashboard is created immediately. You can proceed to create calendar layers, configure Backlog Box, or create dashboard widgets.

Remove tools from Spaces

If you no longer need some tool in your Space, you have two options. You can delete the tool completely from the account. You can find information on how to do it on the respective pages:

If you need to keep the tool but don't want it to be visible in the Space or shared with Space members, you can move the tool to another Space where you're a Space admin or just move it to your personal Space.

Remove dashboards from Space tools

  1. Click the relevant report in the Tools section of the Space.

  2. Click the Edit button in the upper-right corner of the report.

  3. A pop-up will open. Under the Location section click the current Space name.

  4. Select the Space to which you want to move the report.

The report is removed from the Space and is unshared with Space members.

Remove reports from Space tools

  1. Click the relevant dashboard in the Tools section of the Space.

  2. Click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Move.

  4. On the pop-up that opens select the Space to which you want to move the dashboard.

The dashboard is removed from the Space and is unshared with Space members.

Remove Workload charts from Space tools

  1. Click the relevant workload chart in the Tools section of the Space.

  2. Click the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. A pop-up will open. Under the Location section click the current Space name.

  5. Select the Space to which you want to move the Workload chart.

The Workload chart is removed from the Space and is unshared with Space members.

Remove calendars from Space tools

  1. Click the relevant calendar in the Tools section of the Space.

  2. Right-click the name of the calendar on the calendar panel. Alternatively, hover over the calendar's name and click the three-dot menu button that appears.

  3. Select Move.

  4. On the pop-up that opens select the Space to which you want to move the calendar.

The calendar is removed from the Space and is unshared with Space members.
