Space admins can add and remove tools from spaces that they manage.
You can add Dashboards, Workload charts, Reports, Analytics boards, and Calendars to your space to give all space members quick access to team-specific tools. Level of access to the tools is defined by the access role of the user in the parent space.
-
Navigate to the relevant space in the sidebar.
-
Click + 1 next to the Tools section in the sidebar.
-
Select the tool that you want to add from the list 2.
-
Enter the name of the tool 3.
-
(Optional) Change the space where the tool will be located if necessary.
-
(Optional) For Workload charts and Reports specify additional settings.
-
Click Create 4.
Your new calendar, workload chart, report, analytics board, or dashboard is created immediately. You can proceed to create calendar layers, configure Backlog Box, or create dashboard widgets.
Space owners and admins can create folders in the Tools section of spaces.
Folders help organize, manage, and easily navigate the tools created in spaces, such as Dashboards, Workload charts, Reports, Analytics boards, and Calendars.
To add a folder:
-
Navigate to the relevant space in the sidebar where you want to create a folder for tools.
-
Click the + icon 1 next to the Tools section in the sidebar.
-
Select Folder 2 from the drop-down menu.
-
Enter the name of the folder 3.
-
Click Add 4.
The folder is added under Tools and is sorted alphabetically.
You can create a tool or add a folder within a folder by clicking the three-dot menu button 5 next to the folder name. Then, click Add item 6 and select the tool type 7 from the drop-down menu. The tool will be added to the folder and sorted alphabetically.
Additionally, you can drag and drop tools or folders into nested folders without any limits.
Note
You can't move a folder from one space to another, pin folders, or duplicate a folder.
To delete a folder, click the three-dot menu button next to the folder name. Then, select Delete and confirm your decision in the pop-up that appears.
Note
Deleting a folder will remove all tools nested within it.
Any tool can only exist in one given space at a time, however tools can be moved from one space to another. Some can be duplicated, and the duplicate added to a new space.

Space admins have the flexibility to set any space tool as the default page for a space, which will be visually indicated in the sidebar. This capability extends to both users' personal spaces and locked spaces, managed by their respective space admins.
To increase new user engagement and adoption of Wrike, direct them to a specific space dashboard, report, or any other space tool upon entry.
When you set a space tool as the default for your space, any user who joins or visits will automatically be directed to the default space page view. For new users, this will be the first thing they see upon joining or visiting the space.
Tip
If the space admin has set a space’s default page, newly invited users will automatically see that page after (on) their first login to Wrike.
To set the space tool as the default option:
-
Go to the specific space where you want to establish a default.
-
Open the tools available within that space.
-
Click on the three-dot menu button next to the title of the desired space tool 1.
-
Click the Set as space default button from the menu that appears 2.
-
Click the Set default and refresh button to confirm your choice 3.
-
Once set, you'll notice a visual indicator (a circled check mark) next to the space tool title in the sidebar 4.
If you no longer need a particular tool in your space, you have two options. You can follow the instructions about how to move the tool to a different space, or you can delete the tool completely from the account. You can find information on how to do it on the respective pages:
