[Use Case Templates] Quarterly Business Review ๐ผ

We continue with our Wrike Use Case Template series and today weโd like to start a discussion on one of the recently added templates - Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
๐Before we go any further, please make sure youโve checked out our announcement last week about the changes related to the Use Case Templates in Wrike. In short, the Wrikeโs Use Case templates are now available in the Space creation dialogue instead of Wrike Assistant.
What is QBR?ย
A QBR is a quarterly review that is often provided by businesses for external customers. It is conducted to discuss their work and processes. QBRs can also be held internally to make sure everything is going well and also to make further plans.ย
The QBR use case template consists of sample folders and tools that can help you to run the review more effectively.
QBR Use Case Template
Letโs take a deeper look at whatโs included in the template.ย
Folders with Tasks
The QBR use case template has three sample folders with tasks in them. The folders are:
- Customer Support
- Global Delivery
- Operationsย
Depending on the teams and departments at your company, you can change these folders or add new ones.ย
The default view in the folders is the Board View that allows you to quickly change the tasksโ statuses by dragging and dropping the tasks on the board.
Dashboards
This template also comes with three dashboards that you can find in the Tools section of the space.
Here are the dashboards available:
- Customer Support Action Plan
- Personal Action Plan
- Team Action Plan
The dashboards help you have a quick visual overview of the tasks that are due today, this week, next 30 days, etc.
Calendarย
The QBR Calendar that you can also find in the Tools section helps you plan your work efficiently. You can set it up so that it shows you the planned activities for all teams or just the specific team or department. You can also choose a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly view.ย
Workflow
The QBR template also comes with a pre-set custom workflow called โAction Plan Workflowโ:
Custom Field
There is also one pre-set custom field called โInclude in QBRโ that will help you with filtering and reporting when you only need to see whatโs included in the QBR.

Thanks for the continued expansion for Spaces templates. This helps us to support some of our activities as we keep expanding Wrike across our organization.
Thansk for this. Reporting improvement is the next step in our roadmap for improving our work. It gives some ideas.

We were doing a QBR in my previous job. I am to bring this up to my Supervisor in my next meeting! Thank you for sharing. This is going to be a huge help as we try to expand the utilization of Wrike across all departments!

We do QBR's with every hospital we have a program at but typically done by our account managers. This is an interesting concept and potential for them to manage those a different way. Thank you for the insight and templates!
Great example of use for the Calendars:-) but still wish they were a View inside the project itself.

I went through the Use Case Templates recently and had a hard time wrapping my head around them and how we would use them with our team. This info is very helpful, it helps me understand the use cases for the Use Cases. (See what I did there?) I need to go back and try to digest those templates a little more.ย

Great info - our team doesnt usually look at qtr views, but if we do ill have to look back at this!
