Please let me know if you have any questions ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Hello, have there been any updates regarding the addition of the calendar view in the iOS app? Our team is deciding whether to use Wrike as opposed to other similar tools and the fact that the calendar is not available on the mobile app - most of us have an iPhone - may steer our decision towards a different tool. I would be grateful to receive any feedback since we do really enjoy the website version of Wrike. Thank you!
Hi Beatrice Muroni, welcome to the Community!
Thank you for checking in, unfortunately, no updates at the moment. We'll be sure to let you know if there are any changes in relation to this suggestion๐๐ผ
Hi, I'm also wondering about this functionality as many of our key users will be needing the calendar to get an overview of multiple projects on their mobile device. I saw a post that this was to be rolled out end of 2021, but don't see it yet.ย
Hi Jip van Seeters, welcome to the Community, and thank you for posting. There are no updates in relation to this suggestion, we'll be sure to let you know if anything changes๐๐ผ
Calendar? Can you give us an ETA on this. We just signed a contract but are rethinking it due to this feature missing.
Hi everyone! I've checked with the team as this idea here reached the 60 upvotes threshold. Calendar View is available for our Android app, and the team is researching the potential of adding it to our iOS app as well. We will keep you posted on how it goes ๐ย

Any news on this feature?ย
Hi Libby Middleton, welcome to the Community and thank you for checking in here. At the moment, the team continues to research the functionality, we'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates here ๐๐ผ
The lack of calendar view in the mobile app is a huge drawback and hindrance to our workflow. Using the calendar to schedule our staff in the field is smooth, however the fact they they are unable to view the calendar on their phones is a problem.
It's very disappointing that this feature still doesn't exist. We were told 2 years ago that the team ran into "technical blockers" in trying to provide this on iOS. After that we are told there is no update and it's not on the radar. Then last year we are told in this thread that "the team is researching the potential of adding it to our iOS app as well". 7 months later we still have no progress.
So what's the true status? Is it being developed or not? If no, then why not?
Are they working through the "technical blockers" or does "researching" mean they are just talking about it and not really doing anything?
I know I am sinical, but history has shown that Wrike kicks the can down the street forever with these kinds of responses and rarely do we see these requests addressed. Often, it's just passive excuses one after the other. We just want the truth. Why is this requested feature only available on Android and what is being done to have it on iOS. It's not the only mobile app that uses calendars, so I don't understand what the blocker is.

Hi folks! I've checked with the team to check the current status of this suggestion - they have researched it, and for now, it didn't get to planning due to conflicting priorities. We understand your feedback here, and our Product team is aware of the demand for calendars on iOS apps. We'll continue passing on your feedback here, and we'll make sure to let you know if there are any changes.ย

This issue is 5 years old!
How long is something not a priority? I know many people have requested calendars on iOS. Sorry Apple fans, I guess you're never going to get it. Luckily, I am on Android so I have calendars!
ย
Jason Pontius its farcical isn't it??
We understand your sentiment here, folks, but as we mentioned previously, our team can't commit to working on all suggestions posted here in the Community, even those ones that were posted a while back. We will continue passing on your feedback though, and we'll let you know if there are any changes in the future.ย

Lisa Thank you for your understanding. However, this exemplifies our point. The calendar issue on iOS goes back five years as an issue that impacts all Apple mobile users. In the meantime, many hours and resources have been spent to work on "new" table views and board views with arguably little value.ย The new table view does not offer much value or functionality over the classic table view other than visual. Yet requests like the lack of calendars on iOS goes on for years with no progress.
From what I've seen and heard on these forums, the biggest complaint is that Wrike spends too much time on nonessential development such as new icons and new layouts and no effort goes into core lacking functionality. We have asked for years for things like the calendars on iOS, for improved Gantt reporting, for better relationship between planned effort and actual remaining effort, for ties between work schedules and Wrike data (PTO having to be managed in both places separately), and other functionality that is just plain missing.ย
We are constantly told that these items are not a priority, not on the road map, backburnered, and every other way of saying that Wrike isn't going to work on it, while at the same time we spend months developing and reviewing and providing feedback on new visual enhancements and new layouts that really don't bring much of any real functional value to the product.
There has been much expression from the community that Wrike does not have their priorities right. And examples like this calendar issue just support this sentiment.
ย
Hi Jason Pontius, apologies for the delay here and thank you for continuously supporting this idea.ย We do understand that this is an important enhancement for some of our users, and we continue reporting the feedback here to our team.

Elaine, I do realize that there are some things that do get launched, but looking at this list you provided, most of these are minimal programming efforts. Some of these items probably took 1 day to implement.
The Custom Field HTML Link took 6 years to add, and it's really not that hard.
The Order of Custom Fields really hasn't been addressed. From what I understand, it only works in Custom Item Types, not in normal tasks and projects. This request is 3 years old and was not really addressed, just marked Launched because custom item types allows it.
Clickale Links in Request Forms took almost 5 years to implement. This is one of the simple adds that should have only taken a day of programming to implement; it took 5 years.
Hyperlinks in Discussions was another hyperlink implementation and took 4 1/2 years.ย
Bullet points took 2 1/2 years, and again, is just formatting; it has nothing to do with core functionality.
ย
The trend here is that all of these tasks are fairly simple, cosmetic features that shouldn't take too long to add, yet take 3 to 5 years to get implemented. Meanwhile, more major requests such as Gantt chart printing, iOS calendars, and other features that actually do require sizable programming efforts go for years with no progress. Honestly, if you are proud of this list of launched features, it says a lot about Wrike's ability and interest in furthering their platform and supports our complaint about trivial enhancements trump real core functions.
My 2 cents.ย Thank you.
Hi Jason Pontius, thank you for voicing your opinion and insights. The Product Development Team is constantly working on improvements for the platform and priorities have to be defined.
ย
Feedback is one of the most important indicators considered by our team, however, as much as we'd like to deliver as many suggestions as possible, not all of them can be implemented. You can appreciate that what may seem to be minimal changes to some users may be very important enhancements for others.
ย
I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed, the examples Elaine mentioned were meant to demonstrate that the Product Team does pay attention to feedback and tries to implement some of the requested features, while in parallel keeps developing major improvements to the platform.
ย
As promised, we continue passing your feedback on to the team. Please, feel free to let us know any other thoughts you might have. In case we are informed of any changes regarding this improvement, we will share the updates with you.
ย
Thank you!
Any update on this?
so frustrating. we finally figured out Wrike and generating a calendar view, and even embedding it on our sharepoint site, but it looks like garbage on mobile. We may have to abandon.ย
Any updates on this? 5 Years and no progress is quite hysterical. What percentage of your users are on iOS?
Peter Hernandez As you can see from my previous comments on this thread, I would not hold my breathe on this. Months and months go by with no updates, until someone like yourself pokes the subject. Then we get the same old response, "no update on this, we'll keep you posted". It's been a year and a half since we had enough upvotes for them to look into it and for them to "research it".ย
ย
It's a waste of time to provide feedback anymore. I gave up on most of the missing core features I have begged them to work on. They just won't do it.
ย
Jason Pontius Yeah it really does seem that way. We just came back from Monday since they had some of the same feedback issues. Maybe will try our luck with Asana before I recommit too much more here.
Hi folks, thank you for bumping this thread! We do have an update today - our team is looking into this at the moment, so we changed the status accordingly. We'll let you know when we have further updates ๐
