More time for my family. So I reject meetings after my working hours and even in homeoffice make a stricter boarder between work and private.
Learn sign language. Hope in the next few monthsย
On a mission to finish a 30K race in September. The challenges are, obviously the distance itself :D and a semi-serious knee injury (inherited from a car accident years ago).
Less screen time and more hobbies! ๐ฑ๐ฉโ๐จ

To stay more active despite some health challenges.
I'm trying to be better about the separation of work and family time - not checking emails after hours, not giving attention to a screen instead of my kids or my dog.ย
Getting more time in nature!
To read more (but time is in short supply now with various volunteer opportunities in addition to work).
getting back into a fitness/workout routine. Sad to say it's been since COVID that I have had a regular routine and I'm only getting older - I need to get back to it. Started working with a personal trainer 2 weeks ago.
Spending more time with my kids and less time on my phone. I am also working towards reading my Bible in a year, half way there!
Trying to not sweat the small stuff! Being okay with things that are out of my control is hard for me (as I'm sure it is for most!), but I'm trying to navigate them with grace!ย
My goal: get more exercise so I can build my muscles!
Preparing to move my oldest child to college this fall. More family time!!!
Professional: Managing a massive project with the goal of raising our company wide NPS score.
Personal: Run 450 miles this year. Currently on pace to hit it!
I am looking for a work life balance.
I'm trying to tackle some home improvement projects that have been hanging over my head for too long! Going to make a list and ask some friends to keep me accountable.
Get a couple of new certificates that will help me in my career.ย
Finish painting my decks which I have been meaning to do for over a year (if it ever stops raining on a weekend or having a 90 degree heat wave!).
Become more active - working out, playing pickleball, exercising
Finally figuring out a company calendar so that everyone can know what's going on on any given day across all of our departments!
I have been reading a lot this year and I'd like to keep it up! I've read 19 books so far. I unplug the last 1-2 hours before bed and just read to get away from screens.
My goal is to read three books this summer!
Keep my Work-Life balance & learn Spanish
I am working on getting better at keeping up with friends. I need to stop worrying that they are upset with me for not contacting them soon and therefore procrastinate on actually trying to connect with them.
I've been learning Spanish, and this week passed a B1 level test to move to B2 (CEFR language levels - A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, where C is "fluent")
Currently I am at the age where I am focusing on what legacy I can leave to my family, maybe acquire a large amount of land somewhere where it is green and has water, then build a few homes that the kiddos can come to or visit and eventually own.
My goal this year is to travel to 2 new countries and 2 new states.
My goal is to take my dog for more walks. It's summer in AZ so that means getting up earlier or waiting till later to go out. We adopted him a month ago when the weather was still nice - but he deserves to go on walks and its good for my health too.ย
Losing some extra lbs - committing to more dedicated exercise times - so have been talking walks, zumba, or aqua zumba classes!ย And eating better!
I'm with you, Kevin Thalacker, I move my son to college this fall and we're having plenty of family time.
I'm also working to build my leg strength before a Europe trip in September.
