AI Highlights in Dashboards
AI highlights is a dashboard widget that provides key insights and trends from your dashboard, helping you focus on what matters most without scrolling through all the details. You can easily add the AI highlights widget to your dashboard, customize its prompt for tailored summaries, or move and remove the widget as needed.

AI highlights is a dashboard widget that gives you an instant, text-based overview of your workspace. Powered by Work Intelligence, this widget uses AI to surface key insights and trends based on data in your current dashboard. With AI highlights, you can quickly see what matters most, no need to scroll through every detail.
Tip
AI highlights gives you a fast, easy-to-understand narrative of your dashboard data, so you can stay focused on what matters most which may include links to items referenced in the text .

Navigate to the Dashboards tab 1 in the sidebar.
Note
If you can't see this option in the sidebar, click on the More button 2 in the sidebar and select Dashboards from the list.
OR
Select the dashboard created under the Tools section 3 in a specified space.

Click the + Widget button that appears when you hover over the dashboard canvas as a part of the blue resizing lines and select AI highlights from the drop-down menu.

Click the + Widget button 4, and select AI highlights 5 from the Recommended section to add the widget to your dashboard.

Once you add the widget, it generates an AI summary of your dashboard. The summary highlights the key points from your dashboard in a simple text format along with icons 6.
The key highlights icons are:

Critical issues
: Represents critical issues such as overdue tasks, blockers, bottlenecks, or high risk tasks.
Example:
5 overdue tasks detected across Marketing projects, including Content project.
Critical bottleneck: Content project is blocked with 12 pending reviews, halting progress on 3 projects.

Warning/ Upcoming risks
: Represents tasks due soon, imbalance signals, potential delays.
Example:
7 tasks are due within the next 3 days, including Content project.
Workload imbalance spotted: 1 team member owns 35% of upcoming tasks. Risk of delays if not redistributed.

Neutral insights
: Represents descriptive or contextual information, such as status or ownership.
Example:
Average task completion time decreased from 12 days to 9 days compared to last month.
Task distribution shows 42% in “In Progess,”38% in “To Do,” and 20% completed. Progress is steady but could accelerate.

Positive / On track
: Represents completed milestones, no overdue tasks, or steady progress.
Example:
The team has cleared all overdue tasks this week. Current backlog reduced by 18%.
All overdue tasks from last week have been resolved. Current sprint is now fully on track.

You can share your feedback on the generated answer by clicking the Like or Dislike button 7.

Click the three-dot button in the upper- right corner of the AI highlights widget 1.

Select Customize AI highlights from the drop-down menu 2.

You’ll see a prompt window with an example. Use this space to clearly describe what you want AI to create or help with 3.

Click Save to apply your changes 4.

Your AI summary will update based on your customization.
Note
Be specific about what you need, including the type of content or key points you want to include.
Keep in mind that customization has certain limits, you can only work with data already available on the dashboard, and it is not possible to generate images.Within these constraints, you can still adjust most content and layout elements to tailor the dashboard to your needs.
When you hover over the widget header, you’ll see the word “custom” to help you identify customized widgets.

Click the three-dot button in the upper-right corner of the AI highlights widget 1.

Select Customize AI highlights from the drop-down menu 2.

In the prompt window, click the Delete button in the upper-right corner 3.

Select Remove to confirm 4.

Click the three-dot button in the upper- right corner of the AI highlights widget 1.

Click Copy to section 2.

Select your desired section 3.

To move the widget, drag it to your preferred spot on the dashboard. A blue line appears to show where the widget will be placed. Drop it when you see the blue line in the right spot.

To delete and share the widget, click the three-dot menu 1. on the right of the widget and select the options from the drop-down menu 2.
