In Custom field settings (when editing a field in a folder, project, or space)
You can also use rich text formatting in descriptions, including bold, italics, bullet points, links, and more.

Table view (column headers): Hover over a custom field column header to see its description.
-
Work item view: When viewing or editing a task or project, hover over a custom field in the item details panel to see its description.
-
Custom item types (Field Configurator): While setting up custom item types, hover over a field name in the Field Configurator to view its description.
-
Custom field management: Hover over a field in the custom field management panel to see its description as a tooltip.
-
Custom field picker: When adding or editing a custom field in table view, hover over a field in the picker menu to see its description as a tooltip.
