Table 174. Availability - Legacy plans

Overview

Wrike for Office Documents (Wrike's Office add-in) allows you to create a file in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and directly attach your file to a Wrike task. You can also use the add-in to create tasks, edit which folders a task is in, change a task's status, download files attached to tasks, or set start and due dates.

When you open the add-in:

  1. Save your file.

  2. Begin typing the name of a task in the search field and select it from the drop-down list when it appears.

  3. The task opens in a simplified Task view where you can:

    • Change the task’s title 1.

    • Edit the description 2.

    • Edit assignees 3.

    • Change the task's status 4.

    • Add a start and due date: Click the start date, move your cursor to the due date, and click it 5.

    • Download attachments.

    • Add or remove the task from folders and projects 6.

  4. Click Upload file 7.

Your task is updated with any changes you made, and the file is added to the task as an attachment. After uploading the file, you can also comment on the task.
