Creating a Folder or Project from a Blueprint
All users except collaborators can create projects and folders from blueprints.
Use one of your blueprints to quickly launch a new folder or project and notify assignees about tasks in the project. Folder and Project blueprints can be edited the same way you would edit a normal folder or project.
Note
There's a limit of 4000 items created from blueprints and/or duplicated per every 7 days. Every time you create an item from a blueprint or duplicate an item, Wrike checks if the limit has been reached in the previous 7 days. If the limit is reached, you won't be able to create new items from blueprints or via duplication. You can try again in the following days, e.g., if you created 4000 items on a Tuesday, you can create more items only next Tuesday.

There are three ways to launch a folder or project blueprint:

Locate the relevant folder or project blueprint in the left-hand navigation panel of your Blueprints section.

Right-click and select Create from blueprint 1.

The Create from blueprint dialog opens where you can:

(Optional) Change the name of the folder or project that will be created 2.

(Optional) Add a name prefix 3. This will be added as a prefix to the name of tasks, subprojects, and subfolders created.

(Optional) Select a new location 4. Specify the project, folder, or space where your new folder or project should be tagged. If you don’t pick a new location, your folder or project will be placed in your Personal space.

Specify whether or not you want to send Inbox notifications to assignees of tasks in a folder or project and its subproject’s owners upon creation 5.

Specify whether or not you want to reschedule all subtasks and set new start and end dates 6. All subtasks will be rescheduled respectively. Date rollup settings are preserved when creating a project from a blueprint.

(Optional) Check Add another 7 so that the dialog box remains open and you can launch another project or folder from the blueprint (you can configure each item differently using this option).

Click Create 8.
Note
When creating a project from blueprint, project progress settings are preserved, as well as all date and custom field rollup settings.
Alternatively, you can use the context creation menu, which is available in List view:

Navigate to the folder, project, or space where you would like to add a new work item from a blueprint.

Open the location in List view and click the + Item button, which appears over the list of items.

Click the blue dropdown that appears on the right.

Enter the name of the relevant blueprint in the search field.

Click on the name of the blueprint you would like to launch.

The Create from blueprint dialog appears, allowing you to edit and refine the project or folder to be created. Note that you can't change the location of the resulting item in the dialog. To do that, you need to navigate to that location and create from blueprint there.
Lastly, you can use a blueprint via the green + button in the upper-right corner of your workspace.

Navigate to the folder, project, or space where you would like to add a new work item from a blueprint.

Click the green + button in the upper-right corner of your workspace.

In the search bar, start to type in the name of the blueprint you want to use.

Click on the correct blueprint in the options which are listed.

The Create from blueprint dialog appears, allowing you to edit and refine the project or folder to be created. Note that you can't change the location of the resulting item in the dialog. To do that, you need to navigate to that location and create from blueprint there.
Note
When you create a folder or a project from a blueprint all the tasks data (statuses, assignees, descriptions) is preserved for tasks within those created folders and projects.
