Feature Updates
- Wrike's Automation Engine - Increased Limits 🤖
We think you'll like this one. Before we had a cap on automation rules per account, it was 50. Now, it's increased to 100! 📈
Additionally, we improved the overall automation performance ✔️
- Task Stream - Quick Navigation ⬇️ ⬆️
We've started to gradually release the ability to quickly navigate through the task stream.
When scrolling you will see two new buttons:
Last update - takes you to the last comment in the task stream
Jump to top - brings you back to the task description and first comment
Please note: this is a gradual release so you might not see the buttons yet. This will become available for everyone in the coming weeks.
- Search - More Search Commands Added 🔍
You can now use more advanced search commands when searching in Wrike:
- AND - word #1 AND word #2
- OR - word #1 OR word #2
- NOT - word @1 NOT word #2
Please type the command in capital letters in order for it to work. Also, please note that this works only in the Search window only. If you hit Search, the list of results will not use the command and it will show results for all three words (word #1, and, word #2).
- Table View & Gantt Chart - Assignee Picker Improvements 👤
Before: when you tried to assign a task from Table view (or the table portion of the Gantt chart) you saw a list of all users in the account in the assignee picker, even if you didn't have the right to share the item with someone.
Now: if you don't have the right to share the task in the assignee picker you will see only people who have access to the task (or the parent item).
- Wrike & Slack Integration - See Details of Projects and Folders in Slack 📁
Recently, we added more visibility to our Slack integration. Now, when you send a link to a task in Slack - you will see details of the task right away without the need to click on the link. We've also added the same functionality for folders and projects.
- Workload Chart - See Effort For Displayed Tasks Only 📊
We've introduced some improvements for allocated effort calculations and daily capacity:
Before:
- If the filter "by Status" was applied in a Workload Chart or Resources view, the filter in the allocated effort calculations outside the Workload chart was ignored even if the "Displayed tasks only" option had been selected. Example: When the "All active tasks" filter was selected, in the allocated effort outside the Workload chart all tasks with all statuses were calculated including Completed and Cancelled tasks.
- The User cell was highlighted in red only if the allocated effort on this chart exceeded the user's daily capacity. The allocated effort outside the Workload chart was ignored.
After:
- If the filter "by Status" is applied and the "Displayed tasks only" option is selected, the allocated effort outside this Workload chart is calculated based on the selected filters. Example: When the "All active tasks" filter is selected, in the allocated effort outside this Workload chart only "Active tasks" are calculated.
- The User cell is now highlighted in red if the total user allocation (from this chart and other charts) exceeds the User's daily capacity.
- Onboarding Templates - New Design 🎨
Our onboarding templates got a makeover:

Please note that only account admins and owners can see and use Onboarding Templates in Wrike Assistant.
- AI Recommended Tasks - Title Change 🦾
If you enabled this feature from Wrike Labs, you will see that the title of the section on your Home page changed from Recommended Tasks to AI Recommended Tasks.
- Proofing - File Permalinks Converted in Proofing Comments 🔗
Now, when you add a file permalink to a proofing comment, it'll be converted to an icon+filename.ext format, same as it currently works in the description field.
Fixes
- Table View - Task Updates Won't Show Up Without Refresh
When some of you updated task info from Table view (renamed it, reassigned, etc.) you couldn't see the changes right away and had to refresh the page. Now fixed ⚙️
- Printing Folders and Projects Was Not Working
And now it is 👍

Wow, many nice updates! I'm most exited to try the advanced search function. Good idea to use capitals to specify the logic functions. I think the functionality should be expanded to every search area asap.

LOVE "Last update" in the task stream. Possible to highlight the last or every place I have been @ mentioned in that comment stream? I'm often receiving comments in tasks and don't have a chance to read them all, and miss some of them because I'm only often reading the most recent comment made.
Definitely our teams are liking the jump links / last updates shortcut - very helpful! Still hoping to have additional items to apply filters to comments - activities, comments in the stream, comments from review/proofing

I've noticed the jump to last update and its been a huge help.
I know my team will make full use of those extra automation rules. We are up to 15-20 and its just for really basic stuff.

Task Updates Won't Show Up Without Refresh is still broken for me. I use the browser version and am still having to refresh to see changes in the table view.
