2022 Initiatives

Every year we put together our 2022 Initiatives and Wrike has been included in some way since implementing it a few years ago. We add more and more to Wrike!. This year we are reviewing additional reports that could possibly be implemented in Wrike, moving to the Enterprise license, adding a space to track vendor invoices involving customizations, and adding more collaborators. Does anyone has any Best Practices around these? What are your 2022 Initiatives for Wrike?

Hi Shelly Erickson! Are there any plans to create a language translation function? For example, my German colleagues will input tasks in their native German language, but this creates a language barrier for those who only understand English. It's quite cumbersome to use Google Translate for hundreds of tasks / descriptions / comments.

For us the most important thing is to make more automization with reporting. Unfortunately Wrike does not allo to extract and present data as we need it. So we started a project for programming data extraction via API and report creation by our own programs.

This is a great list, and a great idea. The only items I have on my list is to better organize our folder/project structure (just minor tweaks), custom fields (minor tweaks here too), and to work on some reports. I'd love to upgrade to Enterprise, but there is no way it's in the budget this year.

Hi Shelly Erickson

We're on the Enterprise plan with Wrike for Marketers, and it works well for us. The additional features that come with the Marketers package are hugely helpful - even for teams outside of marketing.

Our 2022 goals are largely around Portfolio Management and Prioritization discussions.

We set up a Budget folder in each Project to track vendor invoices and project budgets, and can cross tag those tasks into a centralized budgets folder for centralized management.

We scaled to Enterprise because we desperately wanted reporting on who had access to what.. we wanted to better define our user roles and we wanted 2FA.

I think when Wrike grows organically and you add more and more collaborators and you use more features - you can lose sight of permissions and visibility.

Pamela Martin with the Wrike Integrate Add-on you can have new tasks and comments translated automatically using Google Translate. https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021542373-Wrike-Integrate

We have just upgraded to the Pinnacle/Enterprise plan with Wrike for Marketers, our main goal is to setup new reports using the incredible new widgets we have access to now.

Our Wrike goals in 2022:

1. Use the platform in Marketing. (We just kicked off last month after several trainings!)

2. Track all projects in Wrike. Software projects utilize MS Azure but we are planning to track both Hardware and Software projects in one platform.

3. Salesforce integration.

4. Use of custom fields for better reporting.

We too have lots of goals for 2022 with Wrike - We're starting with Training & Adoption!  As we plan out ways to give users consistent training plans, our end results is always to get better data - to do this, we know we need to be better prepare and train our users for specific skills with using Wrike.  Once we've done that, then, in the end, the data will speak for itself, whether we are looking at better ways to staff our work, or create customized reports using data that is consistent and meaningful for internal teams, external stakeholders, and executive leadership - going to be a BUSY year!
