Feature Updates
- New Table View - First Mass Actions Available ๐ฅ
We know that many of you have been waiting for this! ๐คฉ
If you are using the New Table view, you can now use the first mass actions for:
-Updating the status of items
-Deleting items
To use it hover over the items and check the box to the left of the item's name. Once you do, mass actions appear on the toolbar.
More mass actions to come, please stay tuned!
- New Table View - Location Field and Task Rollup ๐ฃ
We've added some brand-new features to the New Table view:
Location column: you can edit the location of items right from the New Table view.
Custom Fields rollup on task level: you can now not only roll up custom field values on the project level, but also on the task level ๐ Hover over the task's custom field cell, click on SUM, and a subitem's custom fields value would be rolled up for the parent item.
- Item View - Toolbar Added and Name Simplified ๐ง
Work Item View is now called simply Item view. It also has a new toolbar above the description field. It has quick links to the Subtasks, Files, and Dependencies sections of the item. You can also start Approvals and Timer from it.

Updating items in Wrike using email is now available the Item view, in the three-dot menu:

Custom fields management flow gets easier for users with the New Table view and the New Board view enabled. You can now manage fields in the same panel:
- Chart View - Finally in Wrike Labs ๐
You may remember that our brand new Chart View has been available in Wrike Labs for a couple of weeks now if enabled by admins.
Now, all users can go and enable it ๐
The new Chart View helps you get quick insights into your team's productivity and project data and empowers you to perform work analysis.

From the new table view, is there a way for the "More Fields" to stay open when clicking into the "View details"? We use the custom fields for all our projects and have numerous changes weekly to these. It used to be a simple click in the old table view and now they are almost buried.

For the new toolbar in the Item View, how do you find the sections that are hidden? I have various custom item types set up and some of them have the timer or approval sections hidden as they are not needed 95% of the time. For that 5% that we do need them, we used to just go to the hidden section to find them. I can't find the option to see the hidden sections anymore with the new toolbar.

Do you have on the roadmap for this feature the ability to add a prefix or a suffix using the mass action. Right now this is a very teadious job when your team is using a lot of templates.
Hi @..., That is not really what I need. I have over 30 custom item types that have different needs so I have some sections hidden on purpose. For instance, we use dependencies in tasks, but we don't need to see them in the description taking up space so I have it hidden. Before, if you needed to make adjustments to the dependencies in the task you could unhide that section and change them. Now you cannot unless you go to the CIT settings and unhide the dependencies for all of that CIT's tasks and make the changes, then hide it again. This is very inconvenient.
There needs to be a way to temporarily unhide the hidden sections in a CIT task, whether that be a button in the new toolbar, a collapsible section like before or a menu option in the task.

Hi Willy Brunn! There are no immediate plans to introduce mass updating custom fields, but the team may consider it in the future.ย
Could you tell me if you're using the drag-fill feature in the New Table view? It can help to update multiple custom fields with the same value.ย

I am using the drag-fill feature update custom fields, the mass action feature would just have the added benefit of updating multiple non-consecutive tasks with the same value.
