That's really helpful and seems like a viable present-day solution. Thank you Luis Blanco!
Thanks for keeping My Work around for those of us that use / need it. I am grateful for this. Hugely.
But the message still says it's going to end in the front end there - given the above smart folder solution still doesn't really replicate My Work at all, what can be done here?
Is this just a temporary solution to keep people quiet and prevent a mass exodus to another platform - or is there actually dev work going on behind the scenes to improve the My To Do Feature to a point where it is a suitable replacement for My Work.
Please add our account to the list to retain My Work or add it back.
I'm frustrated because I can't drag, reorder or rearrange tasks on a list anymore.
Wrike, you've changed the system to specifically disable drag and drop ordering, so I am hoping that you believe there is a better way to do it.
Can you please provide some information or a link to a best practices document?
I want to learn how you think I/we should be using Wrike... I hope it's a whole lot better than how I was using it and that my workflow will be improved.
It's hard for me to understand how you justified removing a beloved feature in opposition to hundreds of comments but I can see that you must believe something that I don't yet understand about how project management should work—and I want to know too!
I wish My to-do folder and Created by me had the same filter tool as any other folder/project in Wrike.
What I expect to see when I click on the filter button in the smart folder (complex filter tool):
But smart folders dont have such feature.
The filter icon is just for showing active/non-active.
I would be happy to see the complex filter tool in the smart folders
Hey everyone, I wanted to thank you again for all the feedback that you are sharing here. I'm passing it to the Product team, and I will let you know as soon as I have an update from them.

wow you really managed to destroy wrike completely. I am signing off - wrike doesn't provide me with the functionality I love and use anymore, and other platforms make it better.
Goodbye
Is customer support aware that a list of accounts have been created for those interested in retaining the My Work feature? From a previous post, it sounds like they (CSR) have a script telling customers that sunsetting is mandatory for all.
I have included our account in the list of retaining My Work until everything is sorted out.
I want to retain my work too!!!!
The option for My Work has just randomly disappeared from my Wrike account. Did you guys just remove this feature after telling everyone we could keep it, or is it just me? Can you add it back on our account please? We have work to do, and were relying on Wrike to help us do it. This is the complete opposite of how we want to be treated by our task management system...
My Work has disappeared for me as well...what gives?😡
That is very odd. My Work hasn't disappeared from my own options, and I wasn't one of the ones who explicitly requested they keep it. Sadly, my boss is moving us away from that, and towards Dashboards anyway, so I probably won't be using going forward in any case. :/
I can confirm that as of just now, My Work is still accessible to me. I was one of the ones who requested to have it enabled. I will be interested to hear how things progress for you as the account management team is trying to renew my subscription and until there is some clear evidence as to what's being done with My Work, I'm not going to commit.
When this initially blew up, the guys at Asana, were literally falling all over themselves to help all of us migrate and were happy to offer incentives. I've since explored it in more detail, and while there are differences, not so many that I would rather stay on a platform that unilaterally makes bad decisions that impact your day to day in a massively negative way.
It just reappeared for me, so it appears someone at Wrike is messing around with things...
Hi everyone! I'm checking with the team right now and I'll let you know when I have details about My Work and our team's plans for 2020. In urgent cases, please reach out to our Support team at support@team.wrike.com.

Wrike Admin Wrike Admin Wrike Administrator... our team absolutely needs the MY WORK as is in perpetuity. Should have made this exact configuration in the new platform... the replacement is not as good.
The My Work feature is still enabled in our account.
Hey @Everyone - FYI, My Wrike account is due for renewal in 10 days. As usual, I have been contacted by the team at Wrike to renew.
I have used this outreach as an opportunity to ask what the plan is for those of us disenfranchised by this change to My Work and currently with zero contact or update from Wrike or Lisa about what their plans are. I actually received the boilerplate "Oh don't worry about that, My To Do is the new My Work and it's just the same." So it would appear that the internal discussions haven't even been had with their teams at this point and largely this has been contained to a need to know basis.
I am happy to renew if they will at least keep My Work around until My To Do is actually a suitable replacement for it. But with some peoples access to My Work disappearing without any contact and the complete lack of forthcoming contact on this matter, I am feeling pretty unsure about my future with Wrike.
The Asana rep I have been speaking with has been super helpful. Should a change to their platform be necessary, as you can imagine, the more users that would like to do so the better the volume discount.
Personally, I hope Wrike will get this sorted and start communicating to their users.
Lisa How long will My Work remain available for our use in your special access program.
Lisa Are the devs currently revising the My To Do feature to operate as My Work currently does or will no changes be made?
Sorry, but I really think we need to know what Wrike intends to do. This cannot be ignored anymore.
Hi Christian Fitzpatrick! Thanks for reaching out; I'll check it with the team and we'll get back to you next week.

Lisa That would be much appreciated. I think the case for My Work has been clearly heard. But at this point, I feel clarity around the future would go a long way to keeping users on the platform.
These kinds of uniltaeral decisions that impact so many shake a bit of confidence in something consistent that is supposed to support our businesses, not negatively impact them.
Thanks,
Christian
Lisa Any word as yet?
Hi Guys,
So I have left the Wrike Platform now - well, not entirely - I've just downgraded to free and saved myself a few thousand dollars this year.
I asked to have my contract billing put on hold until such time as I saw what functionality, if any, they chose to add to My To Do before sunsetting My Work indefinitely - so I could make my mind up knowing it was a safe investment. This was denied. I asked for a quarterly contract and offered to pay for three months until things had been clarified. This was denied. I asked for confirmation of what would happen to My To Do as far as functionality being added. This was denied.
I basically asked for every possible opportunity to remain a user and every single reasonable request was denied. :) Oh well. Off to Asana we go. Cheaper, better and less disfunctional from a customer service perspective - imagine a platform where the devs don't unilaterally decide to sunset mission critical features like "My Work" without offering a replacement that actually functions correctly.
Very sad that Wrike just can't admit that what they've done is actually incredibly disruptive and work with their users - but that is their mentality. It's not our platform, it's theirs. . .if we don't use it the way they say, when they say it, then we're doing it wrong and we obviously need to change what we're doing.
If anybody would like to get in touch re: Asana volume pricing when you too have to renew your contract and get treated in the same fashion, let me know. :)
Bye.

These are the main features we need to properly replace My work tab with a new one:
Without this it's really unconfortable to work, I've been giving it a chance but it's not working...
Something like this Luis Perez ?
https://asana.com/guide/videos/my-tasks
Seems to be working exactly as I like so far. :)
I'm sorry that Christian felt that he needed to 'sunset' himself out of Wrike. I understand his frustrations and wish him the best as he experience Asana.
Lisa/Yury,
Moving forward, I'm wondering if the communication/marketing of the roll-out could have been improved. Approaching the message from an angle of improving a feature instead of sunsetting/deleting could have lessen this blow out and stream of negativity against the product.
Although I appreciate the transparency, the codebase, maintenance, etc. is all invisible to us users. What's happening behind the curtain is not going to be our main concern and shouldn't have to be. We invested in the platform for the experience and what it adds to our institution.
Announcing and marketing an upgrade would have provided a more positive message than a deletion (with a not- ready solution). The upgrade message would have also given your team the flex time to keep working on the improvement.
+1 to what Susan is saying - I think the Wrike team would do well to keep the customer's priorities and experience at the forefront.
The hard to maintain legacy codebase is of key importance to the Wrike team, but not something we as customers care about, or need to know about. The feedback here seems to clearly highlight the importance of the workflow/experience for customers.
The Wrike team can and should continue development on a codebase that is robust and improvable, but that goal should NOT be prioritized above the customer workflow/experience.
The codebase is not (really) the product you are selling; customers don't care.
Came into work today and the My Work section has been completely removed - can you please add it back?
My To-Do is such a mess of a list. The way My Work was set up was really easy to see when all tasks had been completed for the day. Having the tasks for this week/next week just appear underneath feels like it's never ending.
Hi Emma Perry, I'm checking with the team now - I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Lisa I was one of the most angry people about My Work going away, but I think I've finally built a dashboard that is 95% perfect as a replacement. It needs one little engineering fix to make it ideal and I believe it's an easy fix. I'd like to send you a video of it, but don't want to do so publicly since all my tasks would be visible. Can you contact me with an email I can send a link to? I think it would be helpful. jim@ and my company name is my email.
