[Status: Backburner ⏳] Wrike For Outlook - Email Attachments

I agree this is a needed feature as so many people have images in their footers - you end up with a lot of unneeded attachments (which are also taking up unnecessary space on Wrike file servers).

yes, it is painful to see how all the signature images clogg up the comments area. Plus, even if you delete the attachments in wrike, the system shows empty crosses instead. Not sure what's worse. Is there any chance to have this changed in near future??

our company just started using wrike and this is one of the biggest complaints, mainly because you have to go back into wrike to delete everything so peers aren't weeding through a bunch of nonsense to read comments

Agreed-we need this feature because we have sensitive client attachments that we do not want to share on wrike.

Would love the ability to disable adding of attachments via e-mail integration. We never use this functionality and it just adds clutter to our workflow. 

Or better yet, only include attachments specifically attached in the message, not anything included in the body.

If someone needs to include an attachment they do so in the request form, or by uploading directly. People who use email are just wanting an easy way to reply to a thread without loading up Wrike, and it's really only 1-5% of our user base. 

This is something that seems to have changed where it stopped adding the images and now it adds every image from the entire email chaing (duplicate and triplicate often) to include all the images that people like to use in their email signatures (company logo, linkedIn, etc.).

We really need a way to control which attachments to include, if any, when using this integration.

The integration is such a great time saver....but not when I have to go back and delete 15 unnecessary attachments after I update the Wrike task.

Wrike is a fantastic product. My sole complaint is this issue - as others have outlined above, the logo and social media icons in our email signature present as attachments (sometimes many many times when creating a task from a threaded conversation). It takes away the convenience of creating tasks from Outlook when you have to go in and delete 18 attachments one by one, and you are still left with a long string of X'd out boxes. I used to use Trello and the Trello outlook plugin, and they had this figured out so I do believe it's possible!

It would be great if there was an option to exclude the entire email signature, including the images.  Even with the images removed there will be still excess text with the standard disclaimer, and it would be far better to prevent the comments feed swelling up with this text and attachments.

We just started using Wrike and the number of complaints is growing. After reading the thread, it doesn't look like there's a way to restrict pictures from appearing as part of a comment or attachment. This is rather unfortunate and would love to see these requests push through.

I tend not to use the Wrike Outlook Add-In because of this issue, but forwarding emails to the corresponding address of a task, as I am able to format the message and remove attachemts before sending.

Would be great to have the same possibillities with the Add-In also!

Does anyone know if there are any modifiable Outlook options I could implement that could better optimize formatting for emails added as Wrike comments?
