๐ Releases-Proofing, Exporting Reports, and a New Year (03/15/18)
Feature Updates
-
Viewing Items on Task Reports
- There's a new way to display tasks on task-based Reports. Use the structured (hierarchical) view to see items based on where they live (think Folder/Project/parent task hierarchy, not postal codesย ๐ ).ย
-
iOS App Enhancements
- Yes, si, ja, oui - the iOS app is now available in more languages. The app's language depends on your phone/tablet's settings. There are more changes too, just let us know if you want a full breakdown.ย
-
New Users and Groups Tab (Enterprise)ย ย
- All the functionality you know and love is still there, but Enterprise users will notice (well, we hope you notice) upgraded & updated UI. The new tab will go to more accounts soon.
Fixes
-
Sleeping on the Job
- If you made changes to a description field after waking your computer up from sleep mode, the changes weren't saved. Sleeping beauty side-effects are over and changes are correctly saved now.ย
Love the new user groups management! So much easier!!
@Brittney I'll share with the team, so happy you like it!
Hi Stephanie, are separate workspaces/accounts no longer displayed on the left-hand side panel?
Hi Jonathan, you're on top of it! We actually just rolled out that release (you'll see it in this weeks release notes).ย Instead of displaying accounts on the left-hand panel, you can now switch between accounts by clicking on your profile image and then selecting the account that you want to see. Let me know if you have any questions about it :).ย
Hi Stephanie, thanks for the reply. I actually think it is better than the other way as it is faster to switch between workspaces rather than clicking on the profile image. I think this might be an issue for businesses that stretch across multiple entities/workspaces.
The old way could be somewhat cumbersome under some conditions . If for instance the primary account you work with came alphabetically after another account, you could in some cases have to scroll past quite a bunch of stuff in the navigation pane before getting down to the area you wanted to work. And you would have to do this repeatedly throughout your day.

That's a fair comment. I find having the different workspaces listed on the left-hand side quite convenient but only have two (for example, in Slack there are icons on the left-hand sideย to represent the different workspaces/accounts,which makes switching quite easy)
