Hi Rohan V,
is it in plan the chance to show/hide also other fields?
Thanks for the update, Rohan V!
Question regarding the redesigned Subitems view:ย
We originally enabled this for our account through Wrike Labs, but due to negative feedback from some of our colleagues, we were able to ask Support to disable it /revert it back to the original design for the users who requested it. Does your update suggest that now all users have this view? And if so, is there a way to turn it off/revert back?ย
Thanks!
hey Rohan V Anna Giacobbe
ย
I submited a report for security bug in this form https://www.wrike.com/security/report/ย 3 weeks ago . I didn't get any response . I am asking if there any problem in the form Orย What happens ?ย
I've been loving the subitem view since activating in on Wrike labs in December, I have noticed however, that it only works on standard item types and not custom item types which can be frustrating.ย
Kelsey Rudolph - Interesting that the new subitem view isn't working for you with custom items! I have a custom task-type with different custom task-types and default tasks in it and the new view is working for me. I've tested looking at a default task with just a custom-item inside and it works. Same with a custom item with just another custom item inside (no default tasks). I use the browser version only, just in case that's helpful.
Also! Forgot to add that I have been experiencing a bug with creating subitems directly in the subitems view and was wondering if anyone else had this issue? I already submitted a support ticket, but was told that they weren't able to recreate it (it's still happening for me). It's causing some frustration and is messy to have to create items separately and then attach them to existing tasks/subtasks when it would be great if I can do it all from the subitem view without issue, as we were able to do so previously!ย
Basically, if I try to type a new subitem, it cuts off after I put in 3 characters and creates an item with a cut off name. In other cases, it will add existing subtasks when I hit enter. The behavior depends on how I'm accessing Wrike; the first being when I'm on browser and the second being when I'm on the desktop app.ย
Anyone else experiencing something similar?!ย
Hi Rohan V is this going to be the future of the "Listview"?ย
As you can see with Task B it shows the usual ">" for subtasks, for Task A it doesn't do that. It requires a few refrehses. Until it shows up.
For us the "Default view" is often very broken. Often times we create Subtasks, but they are not shown in the Listview.. Only after Refreshring a bunch of times it does eventually show up.
Overall it does look quite sleek, but it still has a few issues.
Thanks for the update :)
With the recent update, the Name and Status fields for information are all squished together. You have to constantly make the boxes smaller and larger to read certain parts in the tasks/subtasks, which is hindering work flow. Is there a way around this?
Anna Giacobbe We are experiencing the same issue with creating new subtasks directly within the new table view. I'd be interested to see if this issue gets resolved, so glad its not just us!

Kayla Jackson I'm so sorry it's happening to you too, but also relieved we're not the only ones! Support has been unable to reproduce the error even though I provided full details on when and how the behaviour happens (on which internet browsers, how it acts on the desktop app, etc.). I tried the endless cache clears, laptop restarts, etc. ... the usual steps! Lately, a lot of my reported bugs are coming back as being deemed isolated cases that are only happening to me and support saying that they don't have the issue on their side.
I'm just worried that with a mass rollout with no option to revert back, it's going to cause issues down the line because as I'm creating new subtasks, especially in the case where it adds existing subtasks instead that have 0 relation to what I'm working on, sometimes I don't realize it. I tend to catch it, but worried that other users might not realize what's happening. I think bug reports need to be treated with urgency especially since it's widely available now. Rohan V
Rohan V If you would be able to elevate that support ticket, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
I'd like to offer some feedback on the columns in the new subitem table. I wish there was an option to add effort like there is when you click on the due date of a task. I would like this to be added either as a separate column available in the subitem table like it is in the other table views. Otherwise I still have to click into every subtask when it's created to make that update, so the new subtask table view isn't really saving me any time or clicks.
Thanks!
Anna Giacobbe, thanks for providing further information. I will definitely make sure this is relayed back to the responsible team.ย
Kayla Jackson, I have raised a Support Ticket now. One of our support team members will get in touch with you shortly ๐
Thanks, Jessie Stith for the feedback! Itโs now forwarded to the Product Team.
