In my office, it can be quite noisy and disruptive; therefore, I find it essential to listen to music in order to maintain my focus. I particularly enjoy music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
Currently in my Irish folk music phase...

Best way to increase productivity, stop what I am doing, play Bohemia Rhapsody by Queen and sing along and go back to work.
+1 in a silence team! But sometimes classical music might work is doing something repetitive/simple which doesn't require thinking or alternative music like old school Linking Park, SOAD etc.
I use two playlist:
- Jazz in The Backgroundย
- Music for concentration and work
1. Start a Riot by Duckwrth, Shaboozey
2. Celebrate More by 116, Andy Mineo, Hulvey, Lecrae
3. You Canโt Stop Me by Andy Mineo
Brain.fm
For productivity, I prefer no music. But if there is background music, I like The Killers, Fratellis, Evanescence, and Fall Out Boy.ย
Definitely depends on what kind of "productive" I'm aiming for.
1. Routine and admin tasks are usually Depeche Mode
2. Intense and focused are usually heavy/death metal
3. Creative tasks could be almost any genre, but I listen to the whole album start to finish.
Love listening to music to get into the productivity zone and block out chatter around the office.ย I tend to listen to full albums and either music that is more of a pump up or more mellow tunes if I need that chill background music. My go to fav artists are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dashboard Confessional, Blink 182, Goo Goo Dolls or love a 90's music playlist!
