[Backburner ⌛️] Ability to print reports without exporting to Excel
It would be great to be able to print multi-page reports from Wrike. The only way I can get around this is to export my reports to Excel.
It looks like we don't have the translated page you're looking for, but we do have other content in English and offer support in English.
What can we help you with?

THIS!!!! It takes me at least 30 minutes to format a report so that it's readable and doesn't have links to the tasks (for when we share with clients). It's taking up a ton of time and my boss keeps saying we should leave Wrike for it.
Hi @Linda and @Rosi I understand wanting to print Reports, we'll make sure to direct other users here if they want similar functionality.
In the meantime, I did want to suggest some other existing functionality, for cases where hard copies are not necessary, but you still want to share a Report.
@Rosi, I think this might be particularly helpful for you. You can create a Report Snapshot, which generates static version of the Report (static as in preserved with the data that was on the Report when you took the Snapshot). You can share the Snaphot link with anyone (even if they're not a Wrike user). Do you think that would help in some cases?
@ Stephanie,
I tried this as a work around but was unsuccessful. I shared the report by email to myself and the email never came. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Linda
Hi Linda, looked into this a little more. From our side, we see a Report was exported twice on the 7th, but none on the 9th. Do you think you could try one more time and then let me know what date you try (that way I can check if the email is being sent from our side)?
Stephanie, I emailed a report this morning to myself and it has not shown up in my email. I have checked my junk mail as well. I did notice that the report is set to private but I don't think this would impact the emailing function.
Thank you for following up.
Okay, I've confirmed that we did send out a report from our end - to an email ending in mclaren.org. Since they should definitely be getting sent, I'm opening up a Support ticket so the team can help figure out what's going on. You'll be hearing from them soon! Thank you for working with me to figure this out :)
I agree with this. It would be really nice for the option of printing reports within Wrike. When a report is shared with another user, they are not able to export it to excel nor can they print the report. We have many asking for this capability. Is this something that can be added as an enhancement?
Hi all. Ability to export/print reports that are shared with another user will be a very useful feature
Hi everyone, I have an update from our Product Management team: this is something that the team is thinking about and would like to work on in the future, it just isn't on the short-term roadmap at the moment. As soon as something changes I will update this thread (and we, of course, appreciate continued feedback).
This would be GREAT!!! We are spending a lot of time exporting and formatting reports. Sharing the report is great but not being able to print it or get it out of Wrike is an issue. I will happy to hear when this is available!
@Melissa Glad to hear you're interested in this as well and this thread is a great place to follow for updates!
I really need the ability to print quickly and easily tables and timelines/gantt chart. I cannot pay for the premium version without this ability.
Hi Nick, could you tell me a little more about what you need to do with the timelines/tables? I might be able to suggest some options. For example, we have the option to print Timelines and you can create Timeline Snapshots which you can share with others (even if they don't have Wrike).
Adding my voice to this. My boss wants to print a high level status report so that he can hand it out at a meeting of his team. The meeting is 30 people, they can't all bring their laptops, or set up AV every time we have a meeting. He can export to excel, but we lose the RAG status colors and the nice formatting in Wrike.
THe report option is great. And sharing reports using the report snapshot works, but being able to print reports easily and quickly instead of having to export and then the time-consuming additional formatting would be so much better. and user-friendly all around.
I side with the comments made above - having an easy and direct option for printing the reports generated would be a huge plus. Looking forward to this upgrade.
I have automated a report which I receive by email. I learned that I cannot just forward this link as the people who need to view the report are not users. My option is to add them as users or access the report and then send as an email from Wrike. Even the work around requires additional leg work.
Thanks Linda. This functionality will be a great time saver. Thanks for posting what many of us are thinking.

I concur with Meshelle!
Hi - was this resolved with any new functions? We are actually thinking of discontinuing with wrike because of the reporting/print issues. We need an easy way to print hard copies for our board meetings. Board members don't have access to wrike and we need to be able to refer to the status reports in meetings.
Thank you Dana. I totally agree. A different department in our company was considering Wrike and I warned them of challenges with Reports. Curious to see if they move forward.

@Dana Would a Report Snapshot help in that situation? It's not a hard copy, but it's a way to share a static version of the Report with people who aren't in Wrike.
@Stephanie, the trouble with snapshots is I can't put it on paper. It would be great if I could print from the browser, but a print from a snapshot only provides for printing the first page.
@Stephanie, I have the same problem as Larry - I still need a paper copy to print without having to re-format in excel. Why isn't there a way to just have a snapshot to pdf and then I'd be able to print the PDF?
@Stephanie - couldn't agree more with this request. I'm having to take screenshots of the table view and stitch them all together to create a printable version of the list. Or, I'm redoing all the formatting in the Excel export, so that it looks presentable again for reporting.
@Larry @Dana I totally understand. The team is discussing this and are working on improving Reports!
Thank you. Please keep us posted - its very important to my team.
This is vitally important. majority of users are happy with online reports however the Directors would much prefer a printed report each week. With the amount of report they require this is a time consuming task. They pay the licence fees so it doesnt really matter if i like it can be online. It matters that they want a paper version.
Even a very basic printing option would be useful. At the moment i am considering coding my own reporting suite to API into Wrike which as a low priority will take several months however it causes this much of an issue
I also need a REAL report, ready to print. I have to assign tasks to my employees and they don't use PC at work.
So the only way to give them the tasks is to print them.
Snapshots are not good to be printed.
I am hoping something is available soon. As we get more and more users in Wrike, this is becoming more and more important. Currently is is extremely time consuming to export to Excel and then format to then provide to others. This is a highly important feature that is desperately needed!
Hello, Like a lot a Wrike users I am waiting for that solution, to simply export a timeline or project on a pdf.
I am looking/waiting for that since more than 1 year, like everybody, and reading that the development team is thinking about that.
So did the development team stopped thinking and deceided something?
Is there a target date for that improvement, or is it abandonned for business reason?
Like a lot of users, it is a solution that we are needing/expecting, and also for some of them (like me) a major issue which could lead us to choose another solution.
So can we have a confirmation, a date or something concrete about that?
Regards, Romain
