Refresh Tokens - Data Center Dependent?

Hi there,

We are working on Outlook integration for Wrike, allowing you to create and update tasks, add comments, upload files etc. without having to leave Outlook.

We hit a little hurdle with grabbing refresh tokens. The documentation says we need to use a different endpoint, depending on where the customer is located. How can we determine this dynamically?

Thanks!

Hi Maggie! Thank you for visiting Wrike API Community!

API documentation suggests to use the https://www.wrike.com/oauth2/token endpoint for users located on the USA data center and https://app-eu.wrike.com/oauth2/token - for EU. However, there's no need to determine this dynamically, because it's your Wrike account, which is placed on one or the other data center, not users. Thus, if the account is on US DC (default, wasn't transferred to EU DC), we would need to always use the corresponding endpoint.

By the way, we're working on the brand new Outlook add-in that will allow to create and update tasks, as well as add comments directly from within your Outlook. We're performing final checks and going to release the add-in shortly. Feel free to read more about it here. I believe it might save some development resources on your side if our Outlook add-in is something that will cover your needs. I'll be happy to hear your thoughts!
