Initial thoughts. very quick testing
Hello.
I tried to install wrike for Outlook from office store but I get message 'installation failed, Mailbox does not exist'
I'm running office 365 with corporate office account
If you have any ideas
thanks
Add-in does not load in Outlook 2016 (Windows). Produces add-in error even though it is present in the toolbar but NOT in the COM enabled or disabled lists.
Hi @Simon, @David and @Marc, thanks for posting your experience and feedback here. I have raised a ticket to our Support Team for each of you so that the issues you've each encountered can be investigated. You'll receive an email soon with this information. If there's anything else, please feel free to post it here.
I am also unable to install the add-in. Office account, Outlook 2016, Exchange. Microsoft tells me my username doesn't exist, asks me to create an account, immediately tells me I already have an account, asks me to sign in, repeat. I brought it to our IT department, and they were also unable to get it installed despite trying multiple accounts and workaround attempts.

We were very excited to see this roll out. I am currently testing for my team of 12. I have no problem installing the add in, and having it show up in my Outlook tool bar. But, after about five-ten minutes of working the add in crashes (taking my Outlook with it). When I restart, Outlook tells me it has removed the add in. I run 365 on a Mac.
Hi, Liz & Paul, I have raised tickets with our Support team to help you with this. You'll receive an email confirmation of this soon. Thanks for posting!
Hello, we use SSO to log into Wrike. I am able to install the add in for the web version of Outlook. Unfortunately, I use the desktop version every day. It is not allowing me to install the addin. I receive an error that states "An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potential conflicts." Do you know what I should change or how to fix this? Thanks!
Hi Paula, I can see our Support Team are currently helping with this and have sent you an update by email yesterday. If there's anything further we can do here, please let me know! Thanks
So far, I'm really liking it. I've already submitted tickets about two apparent bugs (below). I also noticed that any new tasks created with the add-in are automatically pinned to My Work, even if they're not assigned to me. I'm not sure if this is by design, but it seems a little off in my opinion. when you otherwise create new tasks in Wrike, they are not pinned to My Work unless you assign it to yourself or manually pin it. Just a thought.
Bugs:
doesn't refresh the preview pane when switch between emails. As a workaround, I reload the add-in by right-clicking in the pane and choosing “Reload”. I haven’t found a definitive pattern, although it seems to happen consistently and mostly after I’ve taken action on a previous email. It happens for both Wrike notifications and non-Wrike emails.
Any updates on this Wrike? How will we know when it's time to take a fresh look?
Hi Simon! We've been working on optimizing the add-in and getting rid of some bugs which came up after the release :) We're also actively collecting and processing all of the feedback we're receiving about this, and I really appreciate your comments here. We'll make sure to keep you updated about any major changes!
I love the add on. It really makes the transition from email to tasks easy. One thing I can really see needing is and icon or some kind of notification that a current email is already added to Wrike. If I have 100 emails (pretty normal) and I start going through them to add to Wrike and get interrupted I have no idea which ones I already added.
Hope this makes sense.
Hi Jim! I want to clarify to make sure I'm getting it right. Would you like an icon to appear so that you can see it without having to open the email?
Wrike Team, it would be really nice to have a "Create Task" and "Add Comment" button to appear in the Outlook taskbar, versus having to have the Wrike pane open in the viewing window. When using a small screen it can get crammed up :) My thought being that when an email is open, you can simply click the icon and move forward with what you want versus shave to again, have the panel open the entire time. Thank you!

This makes perfect sense. I can see benefits especially when using smaller devices - thank you for posting your feedback here for our Product Team's review 👍
We are using the comment add-in capability and the team likes it. We would like the ability to add an email comment on creation/send to save a step (rather than having to open it up in Sent Items to access the Wrike add-in).
I love the addin. I don't like that I can't make a new task from an existing email thread that already has a task associated with it. Sometimes I need to make another task for a thread that already has one. For instance; I get an email, use the addin to create a task for it and then complete the task, because email is the way it is sometimes people continue along a thread of email with other information and/or tasks that may or may not be related to the original task at the beginning of the thread which I would like to then turn into a new task since the original task is already complete. The only option is to add it as a comment to the existing completed task which doesn't seem to work all that well as the comments seem to strip out line breaks and don't always add the entire email to the comment. I'm suggesting that a third option to the add as a comment/ skip be added. It needs a create new task option as well so I can create another task with the new information even though it's from the same email thread. I realize this will cause a display dilemma with multiple tasks being available for a single thread but maybe you could tie a particular task to the exact email that created it or added comments to it or just simply show the latest task for that thread
I loved the addin, until it stopped working. I don't know why, it worked previously.
I am using Outlook Professional Plus 2016. The addin appears in my task bar, and it starts a new pane in Outlook when I click on the Create Task icon, but I get a spinning blue wheel. It doesn't connect. Is there a solution?
P.S. Add in works in owa.
i agree with Michael. sometimes we need to create a 2nd task from the same email thread. it's great that the Wrike add in tells me that there's already a task associated with the email but instead of bringing me to the created task, perhaps there could be options of "edit existing task", "add as comment", "create another task"
