[Status: Not planned] exporting comments

downloading a PDF with comments and having it export as PDF comments would help a LOT.

Hi there, I would also agree. It would be very helpful to export comments/notes. 

Having an option to include the comments and descriptions as fields for custom reports and then being able to export those reports, with those two fields included, would be extremely helpful.  Thanks!

I agree the ability to export comments would be very useful. Our current use case: some time after a project is done, we want to be able to export the tasks and files to store elsewhere so it's not taking up space in our Wrike account. However, we're not able to export comments which (like has been said before by others) is where a lot of information lives. 

Hi Anna Schild, thank you for supporting this idea! In your particular case, it seems that the ability to export files from Proofing together with all the comments as a PDF could be an option for you. I hope this information helps 🙂

personally, I'm looking for a way to export comments that are dropped into an attached file in the task, much like Acrobat's Comments work. 

Hi Juan, I need to be able to export comments for many tasks, not task by task.  I'd prefer if I could bulk export tasks including comments. 

Hi Juan, I don't think "printing" (export to PDF) the Stream View would work for us because we want to be able to bulk export tasks with their comments.  Our use case is not for an individual task but for all tasks in a project. 

Juan - The entire point of exporting is not to print or print to a pdf file.  It is to export into excel or other tool to maintain as a searchable archive.  Please stop asking if printing to pdf is OK.  The community has made it clear, when you read this thread, that it is not.  We need the ability to export with comments into excel or like format.  Just curious, is this a design/platform limitation similar to in ability to create recurring tasks with subtasks? This thread has been outstanding for 6 years.  I agree with a previous comment, this is not a feature, this is more of a bug fix.

Let's not be so hard on Juan...he's offering help. It might not be what you're looking for, but he's taking time out of his day to try.

Juan...that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for! I don't remember that feature being there before (in proofing)...it must be a newer update.

Hello, any updates to this request? Our marketing department now under new leadership and would like to move away from Wrike.  We have a regulatory requirement to save communications for one of our customers for 10 years.  Really need a bulk method for exporting task comments so I don't have to export 2 years worth of tasks 1 by 1. Thank you.
