- Generating a summary of comments
- Rewriting text
- Answering a question with Copilot
- AI agent action
AI Essentials actions are included for free and unlimited* in all paid Subscription plans.*
AI Elite actions are metered based on a monthly allowance pooled at the account level.
*AI Essentials actions are subject to fair usage restrictions under which Wrike may temporarily disable or degrade the performance of Wrike AI with respect to AI Essentials actions, with reasonable notice to Customer where practicable.
Here’s how AI features and actions are included for a typical account with 100 users:
| Plan |
AI Essentials* (Free) |
AI Elite (monthly allowance) |
Optional AI Elite Actions Pack Add-On** |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Included | Not available | Not available |
| Team | Included | Not available | Not available |
| Business | Included | 300 actions/month (pooled) | Available |
| Enterprise | Included | 500 actions/month (pooled) | Available |
| Pinnacle | Included | 1,000 actions/month (pooled) | Available |
| Apex | Included | 10,000 actions/month (pooled) | Available |
AI Essentials actions are included for free and unlimited* in all paid Subscription plans. Metered, but not charged*
AI Elite: Each account’s monthly AI Elite allowance is determined by the plan type and seat count. If the account exhausts its monthly allowance, it can be expanded with an Add-On.
- Monthly Allowance: A set number of actions per Full User license, per month, pooled for the whole account (e.g., 10 actions/Full User license/month on Pinnacle).
- AI Elite Actions Pack: An optional Add-On that provides a supplemental pool of 12,000 AI Elite Actions. Unlike the monthly allowance, these actions can be used at any time during your Subscription Term and do not expire until your renewal. You can purchase several units of Add-On packs.
*AI Essentials actions are subject to fair usage restrictions under which Wrike may temporarily disable or degrade the performance of Wrike AI with respect to AI Essentials actions, with reasonable notice to Customer where practicable.
** Available from April 1, 2026.
You can easily track how many AI actions your organization has used each month. The usage numbers refresh automatically on the first day of every month. Only account admins can view this information.
You can view AI usage for both AI Essentials and AI Elite in AI usage under Account management.
To check your AI usage:
-
Click your profile image in the sidebar 1.
- Select Settings 2 from the drop down menu.
-
Under Account management, scroll down and select AI usage 3.
You’ll see the total number of AI actions used by everyone in your organization for the corresponding Subscription plan. Admins can see the history of usage to monitor consumption and predict usage trends.
What you’ll see on the AI usage page
The AI usage page includes a summary and several tables that break down usage in different ways.
AI usage summary
The summary shows total AI usage for AI Essentials and AI Elite across all spaces, including public, private, and locked spaces. Admins who have access to the AI usage page can see this data even if they don’t have access to every private or locked space.
Click Show history to open a bar chart that shows how many actions were used each month.
Agents table
The Agents table shows AI usage for agent items only from spaces the admin can access. This includes:
- All public spaces
- Private or locked spaces where the admin has access
The table includes:
- Agent name: The name of the agent
- Executions: The number of times the agent ran
- Actions: The number of AI actions the agent used
- Space: The space where the agent is created
- Author: The person who created the agent
Users table
The Users table shows total AI usage by user across all spaces, including public, private, and locked spaces. Admins who have access to the AI usage page can see this data even if they don’t have access to every private or locked space.
The table includes:
- User name: The name of the user
- Actions: The total number of AI actions used
- Essentials actions: The number of actions used from AI Essentials
- Elite actions: The number of actions used from AI Elite
Features table
The Features table shows total AI usage by feature across all spaces, including public, private, and locked spaces. Admins who have access to the AI usage page can see this data even if they don’t have access to every private or locked space.
The table includes:
- Feature name: The name of the AI feature
- Category: The feature type or group
- Actions: The total number of actions used
- % of total usage: The percentage of overall AI usage for that feature
Export AI usage data
You can export AI usage data as a CSV file.
Each CSV row represents daily AI action usage for either:
- A user using a specific AI feature, or
- An AI agent using actions on that day
The CSV export includes:
- Agent item usage only from spaces the admin can access, including all public spaces and private spaces where they have access.
- Other AI feature usage from all spaces, including public, private, and locked spaces, because these entries don’t include location data.
Date range picker
When you filter AI usage data by date:
- The earliest available start from date is Jul 1, 2026.
- The default date range is the current month, from the first day of the month through today.
An AI Action is any single, independent operation performed by Wrike AI. In the case of Agents - it is an action performed by an agent.
Example:
| Use case | Weekly status updates for 10 projects in portfolio |
|---|---|
| Wrike AI solution |
Agent name: Project status reporter Custom agent that automatically reviews project notes, next steps, and delay reasons, then does the following actions:
|
| How many AI Elite Actions does this agent consume each time it runs? | 4 |
| How many times does this Agent run in a week? | 10 (number of projects) |
| Number of AI Elite actions consumed monthly | 4 x 10 x 4 weeks in a month = 160 |
Note
Skipped and failed actions count toward the total. The system counts the agent’s evaluation effort, not just successful outcomes.
If your account reaches its monthly AI action limit:
- You’ll continue to have unlimited free access to all AI features until March 31, 2026, with no interruptions.
- Starting April 1, 2026, our generous AI usage quotas will take effect, and paid packages for additional actions will be available. You will not be charged automatically - your account manager will contact you to discuss options.
We want to ensure your automated workflows and AI insights keep running smoothly. Here is how Wrike helps you track your usage and what happens if you exceed your balance.
To help you manage your consumption, Wrike automatically notifies Account Admins and Owners at key milestones:
- 90% of Balance: You’ll receive an email and in-app notification when you’re nearing your limit.
- 100% of Balance: You’ll be notified once your contracted AI Elite Actions are fully used.
If your allocated AI Elite Actions are exhausted, access to AI Elite features may be restricted until the start of the next monthly metering reset or the purchase of additional AI Elite Actions Packs. If you need to restore access immediately, you can purchase an AI Elite Actions Pack to add 12,000 actions to your balance. Contact your Account Manager.
If your team is consistently hitting its limits, you have two easy options:
- Purchase an AI Elite Actions Pack: Best for one-time spikes or supplemental needs.
- Upgrade your Plan: Higher-tier plans (like Apex) offer significantly larger monthly allowances per Full User license.
