Deactivating Workflows
Deactivating workflows hides them from users without deleting any data, making it easier to manage and update your workspace. Use the toggle switch in the workflow settings (at either the space or account level) to activate or deactivate a workflow whenever you need.

Deactivating a workflow hides it from selection menus, so your team can’t choose it for new tasks, folders, or projects. If an item already uses a status from a deactivated workflow, it keeps that status - deactivation doesn’t change or remove it. You can reactivate deactivated workflows at any time if you need tzhem again.

Note
In some cases, you can still replicate items that use a deactivated workflow but the will have limited use. This happens:
-
When the workflow is set as a default on custom item types
-
When the workflow is set as a default in a space
-
When you duplicate an item
-
When you create an item from a blueprint or space template that includes it.
Wrike preserves the original settings. If needed, you can manually update items to use a different workflow.
You can see who deactivated a workflow in the status picker. Just click on the deactivated workflow status to view this information.
