Edit Wrike Items From Whiteboard
TL;DR
You can open a linked Wrike item from a Whiteboard, edit it in the usual Item view, and all changes sync instantly for users who are logged in and have access.

You can open and edit Wrike items directly from the Whiteboard as long as you’re logged in and have the correct access rights. Changes you make in Whiteboard sync to the same item in Wrike in real time, so everyone sees up-to-date information across views.

On your Whiteboard, find the idea that’s linked to a Wrike item.

Do one of the following:

Double-click the idea, or
-
Click the Open the element in Whiteboard 1 icon in the upper-right corner of the idea.

The Item view 2 opens and you can work with the Wrike item directly from the Whiteboard.
When the Item view opens from the Whiteboard, you can use it the same way you do in Wrike.
From this view, you can:

Change system fields such as Status, Assignee, and Dates

Edit the item description
-
Add or remove subitems
-
Attach files
-
Add Whiteboard links
-
Add approvals
-
Update dependencies
-
Add comments and @mention assignees
All edit actions available in the Item view in Wrike are also available when you open the item from Whiteboard.

When you update fields in Item view from the Whiteboard, change sync to Wrike immediately.

Updates to status, description, dates, and assignees appear right away for everyone who has access to that item in Wrike.

You can edit an item from Whiteboard only if:

You’re logged in to Wrike, and
-
You have permission to view and edit that item in Wrike.

If a user imports an item to Whiteboard from their Wrike account:

Users with different Wrike accounts can’t view or edit that item unless they also have access to it in Wrike.

These users will repeatedly see a login screen when they try to open the item.

If they click Open the link in a new tab in the upper-right corner of the login screen, they see a message that they don’t have access to this information.

Limitations

This feature is not supported in Safari. Use a different browser to open and edit Wrike items from the Whiteboard.
