What's New in Wrike – May 2025
Our May edition of What’s new in Wrike brings you new updates to Klaxoon + Wrike Integration, Timesheets, New Filters in Dashboards (Wrike Labs Release), Databases, and New Filters in Table View.

A new integration between Wrike and Klaxoon is now available, designed to streamline the connection between visual collaboration in Klaxoon and structured work management in Wrike, enabling teams to manage brainstorming and execution within a unified workflow.
This integration enables:

Conversion of Klaxoon ideas into Wrike items: Transform brainstorming sessions into tasks, projects, folders, or custom items within Wrike.

Importing Wrike items into Klaxoon Boards: Visualize and collaborate on Wrike work items directly within Klaxoon's collaborative spaces.

Attaching Klaxoon Boards to Wrike items: Maintain context and access to creative input by linking Klaxoon Boards within Wrike workflows.

Introducing enhanced customization features for Timesheets, designed to help users organize, analyze, and visualize time entries more efficiently using the improved Table view functionality.

Expanded Field Access: Utilize both system and custom fields to categorize and monitor work by client, status, due date, and more.

Advanced Sorting: Sort time entries by relevant fields to better prioritize your work.

Comprehensive Analysis: Effortlessly analyze time spent with automatic totals by category, billing type, and custom fields.
Improved Fields Menu:
To streamline access and enhance your workflow, the Fields menu now includes two distinct sections:

Custom Fields from Timesheet Items: View all custom fields available for your current timesheet, allowing you to display only the most relevant fields as needed.

Custom Fields in Timesheets: Maintain your selection of essential custom fields across all timesheets, ensuring your key data remains visible, regardless of the items you are tracking.

Earlier in March, new filters for Table View were introduced as part of the Wrike Labs release. These features are now generally available. In addition to filters such as Filter by Search, Negative/Exception Filters, and filters for TITLE and more, this release also includes the AND/OR operator and filtering presets.

We are introducing new filtering options for Dashboards in Wrike Labs, accompanied by an intuitive user interface designed to streamline the filtering process. With this update, dashboards can incorporate widgets using either the classic or new filters, and users now have the flexibility to switch any widget between New Filters and Classic Filters as needed.
Key enhancements include:

Custom date ranges

Relative date selections

“Is not” filtering, among other improvements

Two new enhancements have been introduced for Databases:

UI Update: The "Datahub" label in Spaces Navigation has been renamed to "Databases" to provide greater clarity for users.

Import Improvements:

Import functionality now supports tab-separated values (TSV) files in addition to CSVs.

Enhanced recognition of Select fields during import:

Single select fields: [option]
-
Multi-select fields: "[option 1], [option 2]"

Empty values can be imported as [] or left blank after a comma or tab.

Available for Pinnacle plan.
We initially introduced formulas in the Databases feature in March, and now it is fully supported in the API. This includes the $TODAY() function, and enables programmatic creation and management of calculated fields using the same formula syntax as Core Wrike.
