Fields in Calendars

You can configure Fields in Calendars, Calendar view, Space Calendar tool and Calendar Widget in Dashboards. This feature allows you to customize the view of your tasks and projects.
Important
In this section, we refer to Calendars, Calendar view, Space Calendar tool and Calendar Widget in Dashboards as Calendars.
You can access Fields next to Public links on your Calendar.
You can add nearly any field, including system and custom fields, to your calendars for a personalized view of tasks and projects. If you don't see a custom field you want, use the search box to find and add it.
Note
Custom fields cannot be created in Calendars.
Note
You can only add Fields based on your permissions within a Project or Space.
Clicking an item once in your Calendar opens a Preview card with relevant fields and information, and a double-click opens the full item view.
This card shows selected Fields with their values, but only those that apply to the item type. Fields specific to projects or folders won't appear on task-based items, and vice versa.
You can edit system field values (e.g., assignee, location, dates) directly from the Calendar. Additionally, you can adjust the values of custom fields as needed.
Note
You can only see and edit Fields in the preview card based on your permissions within a Project or Space.
Fields can be configured per user and tool:

Calendars: Fields are configured and stored per user, meaning only you will see this configuration.

Space Calendar Tool: Fields are configured per tool. Any user who opens a calendar in a Space will see the same configuration, depending on their permissions within that Space.

Calendar View: Fields are configured per view, allowing any user to see the same configuration.

Calendar Widget in Dashboards: Fields are configured per widget.
