Moving Folders

Table 19. Availability - Legacy plans

Overview

All users except collaborators can move folders.

Folders can be created inside spaces, projects, or other folders (in which case they're generally referred to as subfolders).

You can move folders from one location to another if needed. Also, you can copy the folder to different locations and tag the same folder in multiple locations.

Note

When you move a Wrike item to a different folder, project, or space, it's automatically shared with all users who have access to the folder, project, or space it was moved to.

Move a folder within a space

If you wish to move a folder to another location inside the same space, you can use this method.

  1. Navigate to the Space 1 that contains the folder you want to move.

  2. Select the Folder 2 from the sidebar.

  3. Drag the Folder or Project 3 so that it’s over the name of the location where you'd like to move it.

  4. Let go of your mouse when the folder or project is over the item you want to move it to in the space.

Your folder or project is now a subfolder or subproject in the folder or project you moved it to.
