Overview

Account admins can specify non-working days for the entire account. For admins on Pinnacle and above accounts, this right may be revoked.

Account admins can create account-wide calendar exceptions to mark Public holidays, Other non-working days, Extra workdays, and Capacity changes. There can be multiple account-wide work schedules, and any change you make to a schedule affects all users assigned to it. These exceptions appear in all user’s personal work schedules and in task and project date pickers. You can adjust your schedule to reflect time away or changes in your capacity. Wrike supports four schedule exception types:

  • Vacation / PTO and Other non-working time

Use this for full or partial days off.

    • Full day: The user is not expected to work at all that day, and your capacity is set to 0.

    • Partial day: The user’s capacity is reduced by the number of hours you mark as non-working.

  • Extra workday

Use this when all the users need to work on a day that’s normally non-working, like a weekend or public holiday. Wrike treats this as an additional working day and adds capacity for that day.

  • Capacity change

Capacity Changes are designed for longer-term adjustments to your working hours over multiple consecutive days or weeks. Use them when the user’s daily capacity needs to shift for a period of time, like working fewer hours or increasing your hours, while keeping the same working days.

For example, users might have seasonal capacity changes, like shortened workdays during the summer season. Wrike updates the users capacity for the selected date range.

Tip

It's also possible to add additional working days for all users in the account using this manual.
