Overview

User group admins can edit settings of user subgroups that they manage. Account admins can edit settings of any user group or subgroup in the account. On Enterprise accounts, account admins' right to edit user groups settings can be revoked

Group settings include the group's name, its initials, and its avatar color. You can change any of these settings at any time.

How to edit user group settings

Rename a user group

  1. Click your profile image in the upper-left corner of your Workspace.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click Users in the left panel to open a list of all users and groups in the account 1.

  4. From the left-hand panel, select the group which you want to rename 2. If you don't see the group in the list: click next to the magnifying glass icon, start typing its name, and click its title once it appears.

  5. Click Group settings to the right of the group's title 3.

  6. Enter a new name for your user group 4.

  7. Click Update 5.

Edit a user group's initials and avatar color

  1. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 from the instruction above.

  2. To edit the initials, enter one or two letters in the Initials field 4.

  3. To change the avatar color, click on one of the available colors in the window 5.

  4. Click Update 6.
