Preferred Comments Shortcut

TL;DR

Choose how comments are submitted by setting your preferred keyboard shortcut in workspace settings. You can decide whether Enter or Ctrl (Cmd) + Enter sends a comment and use the alternative shortcut to create line breaks.

Overview

All users can select a preferred comments shortcut.

You can specify a keyboard shortcut for leaving comments on tasks, folders, and projects.

How to Choose the Shortcut for Comments

  1. Click your profile image 1 in the left-hand side panel of your workspace.
  2. Select Settings 2 from the drop-down.

  3. Profile 3 opens by default

  4. Scroll to the Workspace settings section and select your preferred keyboard shortcut 4. You have two options:

    • Ctrl (Cmd) + Enter to send a comment and Enter/Shift + Enter for a line break
    • Enter to send a comment and Ctrl (Cmd) + Enter/Shift + Enter for a line break
  5. Click Save changes 5.
