Creating a Task

Table 5. Availability - Legacy plans

Overview

All users (except collaborators) on all account types can create tasks.

Note

This option might not be available on Business accounts and up due to custom item types suggestions settings.

Create a task from the Workspace

You can create a task on the Workspace or in any other Wrike view. To do this:

  1. Click the + button at the top of your workspace.

  2. Select Task from the list.

  3. In the pop-up that opens type the title of the new task and press Enter on your keyboard.

By default, the task is created in your Personal space. You can change that by tagging it to the folder, project, or space of your choice.

Also, from here you can assign the task to your teammates, set dates, add a description, or change its status.
