Wrike Lightspeed ๐ฅ
We are super excited to announce the release of our newly updated platform - Wrike Lightspeed! Our platform encompasses three core values that span across every single product launch at Wrike - ease of use, customizability, and scalability - enabling teams, departments, and organizations to work together as one. Wrike Lightspeed offers the most modern UI and connected experience helping organizations reach the fastest way to productivity.ย ย
In short, Wrike Lightspeed is our platform that embraces the following new and updated functionality:ย ย

Ease of useย
New look & feel - as our functionality evolves, so does our design. Enjoy the modern and enhanced look and feel with Wrike Lightspeed โก
New home page (Wrike Labs) - the new home with everything an individual contributor needs to have quick access to inbox, tasks that are assigned to you, or recent items youโve visited, and AI recommended tasks.
New sidebar and toolbar (Wrike Labs) - the new side panel that includes our toolbar is now presented in a single sidebar instead of two which has all your essential tools and pinned items.
New Table View (Wrike Labs) - provides a faster and smoother way to manage your work. The main enhancement is that you can now navigate around the table with an item open on the right panel (i.e. task or project) and switch easily to another task with one click.
New Board View (Wrike Labs) - an easy-to-understand, drag-and-drop Kanban-style view that allows you to see all your tasks in a project, folder, or space in a simple layout, grouped by the status of the item. The updated view includes subtasks and custom field visibility, the ability to adjust the order of the columns, workflow editing, and more.
Calendar View - allows you to quickly visualize your work items such as tasks, projects, and custom item types on a timeline to keep track of what needs to be worked on and when. It gives a week/month/quarter/yearly overview to help you make decisions on what needs to be added or rescheduled in the current projects.
New Analytics View - a fully enhanced project tracking view providing you with the ability to take actions within the view to ensure an uninterrupted flow.
External Requester Collaboration - you can now communicate with external people outside of your Wrike account by receiving and sending emails directly from Wrike tasks to external email addresses.

Customizabilityย
Custom Item Types - an enhanced platform capability that allows you to create work that mirrors your business processes in the Wrike workspace using your own terminology. For example, your team will be able to create and access domain-specific types of items like service requests, sales quotes, product bugs, objectives, candidate cards, and as many more as you can think of.

Scalability
Customizable User Types -ย a new feature that allows you to create configured access control and build custom roles. You can now customize not only existing user types but edit the list of user types by creating new ones, renaming them, and deleting existing user types from your account.
Space Workflows - a new Space administration capability enabling fully independent customization of how each team or department works. Space Workflows empower team leaders who own the day-to-day processes, to seamlessly build and manage workflows for their team.

Is anyone else experiencing frustration with the dates and date ranges not fully showing in the list view anymore? Our creative team has noticed,ย and unless you expand it fully we can no longer see when tasks are due.ย
Just starting to look into the new features. I am wondering how we will be notified about the changes so we can prepare our account users as some of the changes will be impacting their normal way of working.
Kevin Thalacker the last time they made a major change like this there was plenty of advanced warning and I slowly eased my team into it since I knew it was coming. I started with those that I know are OK with change, and once we all worked out the kinks I was then better prepared to help my team members that are hesitant when it comes to change. Within the workspace, there were little pop-ups and reminders throughout the weeks and months prior to the switch.ย
I am most excited about the External Requester Collaboration. This is a game changer for our company and will allow us to move processes into Wrike that have previously used other programs. Not only does this save us time, but also saves us some money.ย ๐

Excited about Wrike Lightspeed and have already done some set ups with Custom Item types that include the ability to communicate with external collaborators!
Excited about Lightspeed! The new Home Screen view is similar to old view but modified a bit.
Many great new features and looking forward to seeing Wrike Lightspeed in full force!
The new UI topics can be interesting. But please take the feedback in the respective posts into account as their are some drwabacks.
For me the Space Workflows are the most promissing feature as it will hopefully help to clean up the huge amount of workflows you have in a big company. The only open question for me at the moment: can I convert an (old) general workflow into a space workflow and can I use the same space workflow in two spaces?
Excited about the lightspeed and definitely โฅ the space workflows! Although I am still familiarizing the new homepage look.

Is there any way with new Customizable User Types to avoid to a certain user to see any comments?

Pietro Poli It's not currently possible with Customizable User Types. There's an option to enable/disable commenting, but not the ability to hide the comments.ย

The new Analytics view. I lead meetings with this view sometimes, and am excited for this update.ย
The new sidebar/toolbar is my fave feature.
The home page seems cool but is unusable in its current state sadly. The new sidebar seems cleaner too but I also had to turn it off because of issues getting to things I needed. I'll check back in closer to official release to see if they've improved I suppose.
