I discovered the Drop down -> Single Select last week when I created a new field with drop downs. Thanks for the updates :)
Wondering if there is an update in the queue for conditional fields? Could see this being useful when you want to drill in to only relevant questions to the tasks based on answers and avoid loosing those requestors/users who are answering Qs not relevant to their request.
For instance:
- If "Other" is selected, only then do you get a text field to fill in the blank with "if other, please add those details"
- If "Yes" is selected, only then do you get a text field to fill in the blank with "if yes, please add those details"
Glad you liked them Shelly Erickson ๐
Kelsey Ireland Thank you for this feedback! I don't have an update at the moment, but I'm passing your use case to the Product team ๐

Kelsey Ireland We use Request Forms through Wrike for a ton of things, but conditional logic has been a turn away for a lot of projects, and has forced us to use outside resources for those complex forms, unfortunately.ย
Cody Rogers I agree with you. We are looking at redoing our request forms hoping that some of the more recent updates (we built them out 2 years ago) will make for a better user experience. We would, however, really like to be able to do a request form, and then launch specific tasks into the project based on the answers given.ย
For example, a new staff comes on board and needs 4 software titles of the 8 we offer. The 4 they don't need I want to not go into the project, or automatically be marked canceled.ย
We also want to be able to have 1 tech request form that asks questions based on the user needs, and then launches the appropriate project (website update, new software review/purchase request, etc)
I agree with Cody and Kate as well.
One specific use case would be a Digital Marketing team that is setting up a new project with several new communications pieces. You don't need everything for every project depending on the goals and strategy, so while blueprints are helpful it's still a lot of clicks for the manual setup. Conditional forms would help solve that (and so many other things).
Kate One workaround I've found helpful is to create a checklist question, and then link specific blueprint tasks to be added for whatever items get checked off. Then only the tasks you need get added to your new project. You can do something similar to launch a particular project blueprint. If you have a dropdown question for project type, you can link a blueprint project to each answer option. Then everything they fill out on the form will just go into the new project's info page. Hope that helps :)
