[New to Wrike] Undo mistakes in Gantt view
Oopsy! 🙀
We all make mistakes! Now in Gantt view, you can undo 👏 This has been requested on the Community a few times so I'm sure people will be happy to hear about it!
Here's some information about how it works:
- You can undo up to the last 30 actions.
- You can undo when:
- Your Workspace has not refreshed.
- If you haven't switched to a different Folder or Project.
To undo:
-
Click the undo button in the Gantt Chart's upper left-hand corner. If the button is greyed out, that means there are no actions available to undo.
Note! This feature is for undoing mistakes or errors so when you make changes, task followers and assignees may receive Inbox and email notifications about it.

This great news to hear - thanks for the update! I am hoping you will apply this feature to other areas in Wrike as well, such as List and Table View.
This is fantastic -I'm so glad this is now a feature. 😊
I second Deidra's comment. I also hope that someday there will be a restore-able log that shows past changes. This could potentially be part of the Stream, or ideally it would be a button in the Gantt view (e.g. "View changes"). The user could click on various past versions (that are time and date stamped with a record of who made the change) and could restore a particular version as they see fit.
Thanks again for adding an undo button -it's a real life-saver. Cheers.
This is definitely helpful.
I think Tess is on to a great idea - something like a History tab showing previous versions or changes would be great.
Danke.
Is this available in Professional too? Nothing available in top left for me.
Thanks
Hi Barbara Bamber,
The undo button can be found in the header of the Gantt chart beside the "Highlight critical path" option.
If this option is greyed out, that means there are no actions available to undo. You can also undo actions by pressing Ctrl+Z on your keyboard (Cmd+Z if you are using Mac).
Hope this helps! If you need anything else, let me know.
Fantastic - great advice and thanks for the screenshot too - very helpful - I have now located.
Appreciated.
Barbara
