Lightspeed Latency
Our team has noticed a significant increase in Wrike latency since transitioning to Lightspeed.
We have noticed the most significant changes in processing speed with the following features:
- Table View - can take up to 4 times longer to load data initially, and to process changes
- Reports - take approx. 3 times longer to refresh
- Custom Fields - takes up to twice as long to save changes
The most detrimental impact is through Table View, as we complete updates to 10+ records in this view daily, and it's having negative impacts on our team's efficiency.
We have noticed the latency worsens when:
- There are a large number of records on the page
- More than 5 columns are added to the view
Any feedback from other users or the Wrike Community Team on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for flagging this Jess, it has definitely be a noticeable impact with the wait time extending in Table View and Reports / Analytics.
We have tried reducing the number of Columns / Fields in the Table view and it seems to have made a slight difference, but hopefully there's more that can be done. We're otherwise enjoying the next features and functions of Lightspeed...it would be great if the speed matched the name!
I agree with Jess' comments above! The new Lightspeed interface and features is great but the constant lag can be frustrating especially when I am working between multiple tabs in the app. At times, I even forget what I was going to do in Wrike because of how slow it has become. Any improvements would be much appreciated. Thank you!
I totally agree with Jess.
I push my colleagues to use lightspeed but is not so much speedy...
it is an unworkable situation. please fix this as soon as possible. We are experiencing lots of negative feedback from the users. This is really not helping in the adoption and the efficiency gains that Wrike could have..
I agree with this, I've noticed significantly slower loading speeds with the new table view. One tangible example is updating dates. I can't compare one-for-one anymore since the old table view is deprecated, but in the new table view if I update a date it takes 30 seconds to update all the dates of the dependent tasks, I can watch it slowly update them in real-time. I feel like in the old table view this was almost instant.
I agree! There was another post about this, but this has been very frustrating. Updating tasks takes a significant amount of patience and I've also noticed the dashboards aren't showing real-time. I was working with someone the other day and showing them how they are "real-time" and the new dashboard didn't update for at least another 30 seconds and some refreshing.
Hi everyone, thanks a lot for flagging this and sharing your feedback.
I have now raised a Support ticket for all of you, because the team will need to investigate this. Someone will contact you soon.
Anyone else reading this thread: please reach out to our Support team if you are also experiencing slower loading speed.

We are on super fast internet and having no problems with other apps but yes, since switching to Wrike Lightspeed it's very slow to load and frustrating with the lag time
You can still turn on the old table view in Wrike Labs, for those experiencing latency or slowness on the new table view, I recommend turning on the old table view and then capturing a screencast video of an operation on the new table view you are experiencing an issue with, and the same operation on the old table view.
This side-by-side video comparison helped validate the issue with Wrike Support as I'm working with them, and helps demonstrate the issue is not an internet speed or hardware issue on your end.
I agree that Old Table View is faster than New Table View, but Old Table View is still slower than pre-Lightspeed Wrike. This rollout has been a fiasco, performance being one of the biggest issues, but overall, I would prefer the old Wrike. Living in Table view as a Program Manager with multiple spaces and hundreds of projects, this rollout has increased my work time, not decreased it.
Definitely I see the impact on Latency
Hi Melissa McGroder, Jacob Bodnar, Sara Snuggs and Marco Guzman, thank you for adding your thoughts here.
Allow me to highlight a recent post my colleague Lisa shared addressing the performance of New Table View.
Firstly, we want to assure you that we're treating this as a top priority. Our teams are actively working to improve load times and responsiveness. We've already begun rolling out fixes that substantially enhance performance. You should be starting to see improvements, with more to come.
In the meantime, for any ongoing issues, please don't hesitate to keep us posted here, we'll be happy to link you in with Support if further assistance is needed. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding and as always, for sharing your feedback, we so appreciate it 💚

Latency: Lightspeed Analytics and Chart views
We were just switched over to Lightspeed on Monday. Is anyone else seeing latency in loading the Project or Task Progress widgets in the new Analytics and Chart views? It is really noticeable when attempting to display the data using Column, Bar and Line. Selecting these causes the console via desktop browser (Chrome) to lock up (we have about 232 projects in the space where I am building these). The console/browser eventually loads the data into the Column and Bar views after several minutes. The Line view in particular has a hard time loading, automatically switching over to Column view. This is the case with both "Analytics" view at folder levels and "Chart" view at Space level.
Update: I believe I figured out why the Line view is auto switching over to the Column view. I believe it has to do with the "then Group by" settings. If set to None on a different view (lets say Column), then when switching to Line it will display correctly, otherwise if group by is set to another value, it will not allow you to switch over to Line view.
Hey Michael! I'm sorry for your disappointing experience with analytics/chart views following the switch. We would like to look into your case and see how we can improve it. You can either raise a ticket with the support or provide some details here in the thread that will help us troubleshoot your case.

Vladimir Bugay Apologies for the delay. The performance around analytics/chart views seems to be better now. Either that, or I am becoming accustomed to it...LOL. Not sure what was causing the issue. If it continues, I will open a support ticket. Thanks for the reply.
I'm with Sara on this. Lightspeed, in general, is just super slow, frustrating and disappointing to work with. I work in the Gantt view most of the time, and having to wait several seconds to do do anything is really making myself and my team super inefficient. Oftentimes times, it just freezes and then automatically refreshes the tab, making me lose track of where I was working. I honestly do not understand why Wrike spends so much time on giving the platform facelifts when there are far more pressing features being requested by users for years now. The previous Wrike was way better than Lightspeed.
Hello Lize Loftie-Eaton, thank you for bringing this to our attention, our team is monitoring this situation closely. Please, let us know if you'd like us to open a ticket with our Support Team on your behalf so that our agents can investigate your case.
