We're happy to announce a big update for Teams users - Wrike Actionable Notifications! You can now receive notifications from Wrike directly in your MS Teams account. You will be notified by Wrike bot when:
- A new task is assigned to you in Wrike
- Somebody @mentions you in a comment to a task, project, or a folder
Wondering how to enjoy this wonderful new feature?
- Open a chat tab of the Wrike App for MS Teams or find our app in your chats
- Type login if you donโt see a greetings card
- Push the login button and sign in to your Wrike account

- Automation Engine - Mis-named Field in Date Trigger ๐
Last week we gave you a brand new trigger in the Automation Engine, and this week we realized we'd named one of its fields incorrectly ๐ฑ! We were using the field name Due date in this trigger, whereas elsewhere in the workspace it's referred to as a Finish date. We've tidied this up and it's now Finish Date.

Now I have tested it, it is a nice little step to MSTeams integration. Nevertheless Wrike in MSTeams is unfortunately still not bery useful. The messages you can get also via Mail (and have more possibilities to customize what messages you get). What is realy needed is a full integration that you can manage Wrike tasks ins MSTeams and integrate MSTeams tasks into Wrike.ย
We always have the problem that some departments use MSTeams for work management (Kanban style in production). For them MS Teams is ok and does not cost extra money. For me in R&D we need the project management. So what is really needed is a real link, that I can see the MS Teams tasks of the colleagues in Wrike and can give them Wrike tasks to MS Teams. So a collaborator in MS Teams.

I am testing the Teams notification before I tell my team about the feature. I am worried that they will be overwhelmed with duplicate messages about the same things and that will lead to annoyance and an increase in push-back about Wrike.

UPDATE - It took about 15 minutes for me to get fed up and turn off the notifications. I can only imagine how my team would respond. I will stick to email notifications. Teams is intended - at least in our organization - for things that need immediate attention which is not the case with many Wrike tasks.ย
I've downloaded the teams App - will see if the benefit is there - thanks
A useful addition the only downside currently is the "open task in wrike" button takes you to the webpage not the desktop app.
