Name Changes

Requesting to make name changes easier. Currently have to re-invite with new email, reassign/redo all dashboards and delete the old.

Hi Jory Bidart! Do I understand correctly that you mean the name and email used in your personal Wrike account?

Yes when their name changes and email address changes. For example, when someone gets married and they change their last name.

Hello Jory Bidart,

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you.

However, you don't need to re-invite and delete a user when their name and email address changes. The new email address can be added to the user's profile and made into the primary email address. The old email address can then be removed. You can find instructions on how to do this in our Help Center here: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/209605569-Add-or-Delete-an-Email.

Users can also update their name in the profile settings: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/210324365-Personal-Profile.

Some account Admins can also update a user's name and email address for them, though the user would still need to confirm the second email address before it could be set as the primary email address.

Wrike accounts that use SAML SSO will need to update the user's profile and email address with their Identity Provider, then reach out to Wrike Support for assistance changing the email address on the user's profile.

I understand how this process can be a bit complicated, so you should never hesitate to contact Wrike Support for assistance if needed. We want to make updating a user's name and email address simple, but it must also be a secure process to protect your Wrike account from unauthorized access.
