Feature Updates

Effort Roll-Up

We've added the ability to roll up effort for tasks in Table view. Here's how it works: find the Effort column, hover over it and click the roll-up icon. You can also find it by right-clicking on the top of the Effort column and selecting "Roll-up".

Fixes

Copy/Paste Images to Comments

When we enabled the new comments field, we somehow disabled the ability to copy images and paste them into comments. This is now fixed.

@... quick question, the roll up is a great addition you guys have added, only 1 remark, the roll up show all effort? also from 'closed' tasks. Wouldn't it be better to see the roll up on either active tasks or to tasks matching the filter in the table view?

Currently the roll up show the number of hours regardless if the tasks is in a non-active state

Thank you for looking into this and feedback.

If you right-click on the Effort column header in the Table View, you can select "Aggregation" and select "Sum" to show a sum of all the effort in the column. If you filter to show all active tasks, you'll see the total of the effort of all the active tasks in gray, along with the sum of all tasks in black.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions or feedback, be sure to let me know.

Hi there, Effort rollup is very nice but could it be automatic? Everytime we create a new project & tasks we have to manually Enable effort rollup in Table view. Could there be a way to enable the Effort rollup for all projects for a given space and then it means that it's automatically doing it whenever we create a new project/tasks within that space.

Such a feature would be really great.

Thanks
