Calendar from Custom Field
Can you make a calendar from a Custom Field? I've been poking around and I don't think you can, but I'm hopeful nevertheless.

Hi Glen, happy to see you on the Community 🙂 I'm not sure I understood you correctly - do you mean create a Custom Field which will allow to pick a date?
Calendars in Wrike can only be task- or project-based.
Please let me know if that helped. I'll be happy to answer any other questions that you have 🙌

Thanks for the reply, Lisa. Sorry that I was unclear. I meant something more like this, where custom field becomes one of the possible filters for a calendar.
Glen, if you create a smart Calendar based on tasks, and those tasks have Custom Fields, the option "Add more filters" appears under all the usual filters, and when you click it, all Custom Fileds should be there, please see the screenshot:
I hope this helps 🙂

Thanks for that. I'm still having problems, though. I have custom fields with data.
I have a calendar that I think is configured correctly. You can't see it in this screen shot, but it's looking into a specific folder and its subfolders. I have dates. But the calendar is still blank. Where should I look next?
Glen, I'm raising a Support ticket for you so the team can look into this. You'll receive a notification soon 👍

Hi Lisa,
Currently I dont see the feature to "Add more filters" to my Calendar? Has this feature been removed?
@Diana Hey, thanks for reaching out 🙂
When you choose where to include tasks from
- if that folder has Custom Fields, the option to "Add Custom Fields" will appear at the bottom:
I hope this helps and please let me know if you have further questions 🙌

Hi there - having the same issue as Glen as I've created a custom field (date), which I've created a calendar layer from but it's not pulling up on the calendar. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to get it to show up?
Hi Kim Barrett, my colleagues from the Support team are in touch with you via email. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
