๐ Releases-Office Add-in, new extension, and better memory (04/06/18)
Feature Updates
New Office Add-in
Not only does the new add-in work with Excel, but it's also compatible with Office for Mac, and Office Online. Check it out in the Office Store.
A New Extension - Wrike ToDo
Jot down quick ideas, remember what you have to do later, see @mentions and assignments? Our new Chrome extension can help you do all of that. Find it in Apps and Integrations.
Access Reports in Labs
Access Reports (in Labs for Enterprise) let you see what Folders/Projects someone has access to, or check who a Folder/Project is shared with.
Remember Last Opened View
Wrike used to always open in My Work. No more though, now it opens in whatever tab/view you were in last.
New Users and Groups Tab
We're rolling out the updated Users and Groups tab to more accounts. Now it's available on all Business and Wrike for Marketers accounts (before it was just Enterprise).
Fixes
Open Context Menu
If you right-clicked on selected text in the description field, the text was deselected. Now when you right-click on text, it stays selected.
Task Titles Truncated in Timeline
Tasks titles could be cut off when you generated a PDF version of the Timeline. Fixed. No more truncated titles.
Completed Recurrent Tasks
If the first task in a recurrence has a "Completed" status, then all of the following tasks in the recurrence were created as completed. Now they're created in the first active status from the workflow.ย
Hi Stephanie!
I'm not seeing Access Reports in Labs. Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Is the Access Report any different than what we had before? By clicking on a folder/project and looking at Shared to see who has access. We currently have a Business Account and I am always looking to see what the advantages are for going up to Enterprise. From what I saw when we signed up last year, there was not enough of a difference for us in what you could do to warrant us paying more for our Wrike account. We definitely love using Wrike and getting our people to use it more and more.
@Perrie Hey Perrie! They're available for Enterprise accounts, I'm sorry about that. From now on I'll add if a feature is specifically only available for Enterprise.ย
@Melissa You can definitely click on a Folder/Project to see who it's shared with! Access Reports areย better for when if you want to check if something is shared with someone who it shouldn't be shared with or if you want to check on one Folder and its descendants. Personally, I think they're better for when you want to check on multiple items at the same time or if you want to filter by specific people. If you have any more questions about it just let me know!ย
@Stephanie Hey! No worries at all ๐
This would be useful for business users as well.ย Please consider adding to Business.ย
Thanks.ย
