I would love to be able to have out of office (OOO) notification capabilities. I know we can currently stop notifications from coming to us while we are OOO, but being able to have those who mention us in comments and or submit requests notified that we are OOO and there may be a delay in our response would be extremely helpful! We are trying to keep communications within tasks/projects and out of Outlook. Therefore, we need to be able to have others notified of our schedules.

A few wish list items for request forms:

  • would love to be able to change the question type of a question that has already been created. Sometimes a question changes from single select to multi select and instead of recreating the whole question it would be great to just update the type.
  • would love to be able to set the start date of the project/first task as the date of the form submission instead of having to have a question within the form link to a date.  Sometimes there's no relevant date questions to ask and it seems silly to ask the requester to select today's date within the form just so automatic rescheduling can happen.
  • when making changes to a current live form it would be good to be able to have this in draft form and able to review before making live since any updates are instantly live on an existing form.

Options to have table view in in vertical and horizontal layout - where fields can be added either on top as column headers or side as row titles.

It would be great to have a way to test automation rules in Wrike before applying them to live tasks, so we can verify their behavior first.

Deeper customization of all UI would be great. One example is the activity/comment section. When files are added the icons are way too huge and take up space.

Also, from the Project main page, we need to be able to sort subitems by "Date Created" in the exact same way we can in Default View. As of now, we only have Status, Assignee, Start Date, Due Date, or Importance.

Would love to be able to add images to request forms so people can see what they are requesting. For example adding swag items to events or ordering business cards that have different branding options.

WISH LIST:

  • Rich-text editor available in tables that are added inside of a task description
  • Ability to change the colors of a custom item type's icon
  • Overhaul of Forms (at minimum the ability to click to jump to sections from a side nav bar would be a game-changer; rich-text editing would be fabulous!)
  • Ability to color-code the background color of tasks on Board view
  • Ability to color-code task/folder/project names (the actual text)

So mostly just more ways to color-code things so we can quickly associate work with a department or brand.

It would be great to:

  1. Show the (main) project/folder an item is in, in a column. The "Location" field does this but when the item is in multiple folders/projects, this is confusing and not ideal, since the names usually do not all fit in the column (and there's no way to wrap the contents), and often the essential project/folder is not shown (it shows +1 or +n when not all names fit). It would be great if the user could select which location to display in the column, so that they could easily view a list of projects in a folder, for example.
  2. Show the Description as a column. Often users create a custom field for "Description" just to display it in the column.
