Folllowing List for Post: Wrike-Up Wednesday: Your Ultimate Comfort Food ๐ฒ
[this list is visible for admins and agents only]
My go-to comfort food is baked sweet potato with chicken breast and a spoon of cottage cheese. Straightforward, nourishing, and reliably satisfying. Itโs the kind of meal that keeps things simple while giving you exactly the boost you need after a long day. It warms you up, settles the mind, and gets you back on track without any fuss.
Mmm, my Comfort food...Margherita Pizza for sure! Yummy :)
Nothing like a bowl of ramen during these cold months in London!
My Comfort Food:
If I had to pick one it'd be the curry Schnitzel from my great grandma. Nothing beats the memories of this dinner at my great grandma's.
Grilled cheese sandwich with exactly five pickle slices.
My ultimate comfort food is frozen sorbet! I am now gluten and dairy free, so this is a treat I can indulge in!
A lovely bowl of Pho with lots of mint and lime!
My husband's saffron risotto! So comforting and warm and delicious - I can never have just one serving!ย
Chicken and Dumplings...sometimes I want the noodle dumplings but other times I want the fluffy drop dumplings. So good.
Pizza! There's so much variety, yet familiarity, with a nice hot slice of za. Pair it with a beer and I'm good for the night!
Grilled cheese with perfectly melted cheddar so it's crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Itโs the loyal sidekick to tomato soup and the culinary equivalent of a warm blanket.
I am going to have to align with Fabio a bit... pizza is my comfort food... all that cheesy goodness!ย
Warm bowl of chili and a piece of Carrot cake from one specific bakery in town!ย mmmm
Chicken soup
low country boil!ย
My comfort food ... this is a hard question as it depends on what I'm comforting ...
ย
I would say it's got to be baked fatija chicken wraps with a big bowl of salsa and sour cream
My comfort food is different pizza or a cheesesteak.
My comfort food is pasta with a glass of red wine :)
Winter comfort food has got to be a Sunday Roast!ย
This is hard. So many good choices. If I had to pick one it would be a chili cheese dog. I don't get them very often now that I live on the east coast, but it was a favorite of mine growing up and always makes me feel at home.
mmmmmmm... meatloaf and mashed potatoes <3ย
Still to this day it's Tuna Noodle Casserole.. Back in the day it was made with a bag of Egg noodles and can of cream of mushroom soup.. I now make it with Gluten free noodles and a more homemade approach but its still just as yummy!ย ย
Mine is my mum's cheese and potato soup - she only makes it when the days feel cold, and it's so warming and filling, with hot crusty bread. Mum's cooking is the best! ๐
A pecan waffle - I'm down for that any time of day!
BBQ meatloaf. Brings back childhood memories of my mom or grandma making it, and overall one of my favorite foods. ๐คค
So many to choose from! If it's summer, definitely a pizza w/ spicy peppers from our local Italian pizza place. If it's fall, a bowl of turkey chili next to the fire pit.ย
My comfort food is milk chocolate, of course.ย
My No. 1 comfort food has to be Mฤmฤligฤ cu smรขntรขnฤ (Romanian 'Polenta' with sour cream). Reminds me of cozy mornings with my grandparents!ย
Buttery mashed potatoes ๐ฅ with gravy are is ultimate comfort food!
Grew up in New Jersey, surrounded by amazing Italian restaurants...so comfort for me is a big plate of noodles and "gravy" (a tomato sauce), with real parmesan cheese on top.
