as a sub-department lead, I built dashboards for all of our spec entry people, so they can auto-assign tasks to themselves, and auto-unassign and auto-status change when they are done using the grab and drag feature of the dashboard. more recently, I took advantage of the new section feature and made duplicate sections for each product program we have, removing the need to reset filters to display only the product they are working atm. additionally, two of our product programs utilize a change form that we need to link into the main task descriptions, so I added a widget set to display those as they are submitted. this allows our specialists to see newly submitted forms as the work the main task.
also, and this seems to be our big out-of-the-dashboard-box surprise, I was having trouble adjusting a report to breakdown our backlog in a more instant and helpful way, so I tried through custom widgets, and got an excellent backlog summary dash as a result. each week, I just edit the date range and name of the two top widgets in the right most column below. this dash provides instant knowledge of which and how many of our hottest tasksย are left to assign and left to move, as well as summarizes which tasks are at which specialist's desk. this last part is crucial for last minute submission changes from our customers.
Not very creative. Very straight forward. This is my first stop every day. I appreciate the ability to move things around. At this bottom of this dashboard I do also use some visualizations for keep an eye on statuses at a quick glance.
We have found the flexibility of New Dashboards very useful for visually displaying metrics about work type or category. You can see some of this in my example from one of our content teams.
Nothing fancy - I am still learning how to best customize it:
My team's main job (in marketing) is to focus on the shared services teams and keep them on task. We also follow up with our outside requestors to keep projects moving. We mostly focus on individual tasks and make sure they stay on schedule.
We created a user survey to gather feedback/data on our team's Wrike experience so far. The survey was built as a form in Wrike, and we set up a dashboard to visualize responses. We added a parameter allowing us to easily break out responses by Team/Department. We'll be sharing this dashboard with leadership to showcase the impact of Wrike on our teams.ย

View of all our projects:
Sarah Wagner this would be a great help to tracking some of our forms for CI efforts. how did you breakout by question? when I try to edit the filters, the form questions don't populate in the pulldown. thanks.ย
This is a view for SEM Campaing Status.
In this view (thanks also to parameters filters) I can have an overview on all SEM Campaigns, and go directly to campaigns that need an help.
KC Cover Desk We created custom fields for the response options to each question, then made sure that each question in the form mapped to the corresponding custom field. In the dashboard, we created a widget for the custom field w/ responses to each question (eg Wrike 1-5 Improved Team) then renamed the table to include the title of the question. Hope that makes sense!ย

Sarah Wagner Thank you so much! I do not create our forms, but I will share this with our green belt that does.
Loving the new dashboard - especially the Sections - need more than 7 for some teams who use these to manage multiple clients!!ย I use for reporting any Wrike support needs!!!ย
We setup a basic dashboard and added in our consultant for a project. The dashboard has been such a tremendous help. We use it on a daily morning call to see exactly where the project is and what is left.
I also setup dashboards for each one of my team members that can be used as part of their daily routine!
For one of my client Projects I have created a dashboard which gives me and the team a snapshot of key information. I can see current Sprint completion percentages, all tasks currently in-flight or planned for the period. In addition to that, I can see which tasks have come in via an Ad-Hoc request form, to ensure these have been picked up and have owners.ย
I have a task count for individuals, so I can help manage capacity, and an overdue task section so we can see what might be running late.ย
All of this has really helped me keep a handle on a large project and a large team.ย
Hello, very nice examples. Kevin Thalacker what is your way to determine the status and risk rag for projects? I am looking for similiar solution to automate the statuses related to project situation.ย
Hello, I use dashboard to have different views of the same work. I particularly like the section feature because it allows me to have a view all product launches and then breakdown in other launches so it is not too busy. Using graphs, tables, numbers make it more dynamic.ย ย
Nothing too crazy yet!
Nice to have a entry dashboard and then tabs to drill down
I created this dashboard to report on projects in my department on a quarterly basis.
Wow big thanks for sharing folks! ๐
